Seems you answered your question....I like this. It fits nicely with what I believe.
I’m not Christian, so no.Seems you answered your question....
No idea why you think you have to be a Christian to come up with the answer...I’m not Christian, so no.
I never said that I think one has to be a Christian to come up with the answer. No idea why you think you have to be a Christian to come up with the answer...
Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

No, I don’t believe it’s Jesus. I titled the thread that way because that’s what Christians think even though it says no one knows his name.Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
That seems to fit with the following verse:
Revelation 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Do you think that Rev 19:12 is about Jesus?
If you don't believe the verse is about Jesus, why did you title your thread as follows?
How Can Christians Claim This Is Jesus
I believe that Rev 19:12 refers to Baha'u'llah, who was the return of Christ with a new name. When interviewed His eyes were reported as piercing.
“Edward Browne has left us a pen-portrait of Baha’u’llah. It is the only one of its kind in existence, and therefore of tremendous value to the student of the Baha’i Faith. Today a visitor to Bahji (north of Haifa, Israel) can read this document, before venturing into Baha’u’llah’s chamber. Thus can one try to recreate in one’s mind the interview granted to the English orientalist:
“. . . In the corner, where the divan met the wall sat a wondrous and venerable figure, crowned with a felt head-dress of the kind called Taj by dervishes (but of unusual height and make), round the base of which was wound a small white turban. The face of him on whom I gazed I can never forget, though I cannot describe it. Those piercing eyes seemed to read one’s very soul; power and authority sat on that ample brow; while the deep lines on the forehead and face implied an age which the jet-black hair and beard flowing down in indistinguishable luxuriance almost to the waist seemed to belie. No need to ask in whose presence I stood, as I bowed myself before one who is the object of a devotion and love which kings might envy and emperors sigh for in vain!”
(Baha’u’llah by H. M. Balyuzi, page 61)
There are other verses in the Bible that also say that Christ will return with a new name.
Isaiah 62:2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
Revelation 3:12-13 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Will this Baha'u'llah have a name?Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

So who do you think it will be?No, I don’t believe it’s Jesus. I titled the thread that way because that’s what Christians think even though it says no one knows his name.
Some man who’s on earth at the moment. So who do you think it will be?
He was born in 1817 as Mírzá Ḥusayn-ʻAlí Núrí but was given the name Baha'u'llah in 1848. As an early convert to the faith of the Báb, Mirza Husayn-’Ali organized a conference of leading Bábís to discuss the state of the Bábí movement. At the conference he acquired the title Baha’u’llah, Arabic for “the Glory of God.”Will this Baha'u'llah have a name?
…but the revelation says no one knows his name.He was born in 1817 as Mírzá Ḥusayn-ʻAlí Núrí but was given the name Baha'u'llah in 1848. It says that no one will know his name except he that receives it, but obviously others would find out his name after that.…but the revelation says no one knows his name.
How? He’s coming from heaven with fiery eyes.It says that no one will know his name except he that receives it, but obviously others would find out his name after that.
Revelation 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
But none of us recieved a white stone, and we all know the name of Baha'u'llah. Oh well another prophecy fail for Baha'i in my view.It says that no one will know his name except he that receives it, but obviously others would find out his name after that.
Revelation 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
He did come from heaven with fiery eyes. How? He’s coming from heaven with fiery eyes.
So he’ll appear from heaven, tell us his name and then return to heaven? He did come from heaven with fiery eyes.
To explain in brief, I believe that ‘Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven’ means that the return of the Christ Spirit promised in the Bible will be made manifest from the heaven of the will of God, and will appear in the form of a human being. The term “heaven” means loftiness and exaltation. Although Jesus was delivered from the womb of His mother, in reality He descended from the heaven of the will of God. Though dwelling on this earth, His true habitation was the realms above. While walking among mortals on earth, Jesus soared in the heaven of the divine presence.
Baha’u’llah explained the meaning of clouds in The Kitáb-i-Íqán. The term “clouds” as used in the Bible means those things that are contrary to the ways and desires of men. Just like the physical clouds prevent the eyes of men from beholding the sun, the desires of men hindered men from recognizing the return of Christ. Thus the meaning of clouds is symbolic, not literal. Their judgment was clouded.
His soul came from heaven and then his body was born on earth. He lived his life on earth and completed his mission from God and then his body died and his soul ascended to heaven, where it took on a spiritual body. All of this also happened to Jesus. So he’ll appear from heaven, tell us his name and then return to heaven?
Prophets write prophecies. The Book of Revelation was not written by a prophet. But none of us recieved a white stone, and we all know the name of Baha'u'llah. Oh well another prophecy fail for Baha'i in my view.
Rev 19:13 He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God.Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
I like this. It fits nicely with what I believe.
