Maybe a pin voodoo doll, or use some magic mushrooms, maybe just good old black magic?

Better still a conversion spell!

One must fight magic with magic, but us muggles will find that hard.

The Chandogya Upanisad. It contains the first mention of reincarnation, wasn't a brahmin idea but one of the warrior caste. It had no links to karma then.

Once they realize it was all a scam to get warriors to kill each other and think Bob who they just killed is a fish over there to loosen the effects of their PTSD..... they will be one their knees crying. At that time present to them a juicy cheeseburger to sooth their pain. Mission accomplished.

imho "why" is a good question.

If you're simply assuming that Christianity is correct and Buddhism is wrong then you';; also need to understand that most people in the world are not Christian but rather members of other religions. The Christian is the oddball. OK, so that does not make the Christian wrong because truth is not up for a vote, truth is simply true. Please consider that Christianity can be true and Buddhism can be true also.

How about we focus on the truth of Buddhism and how it can agree w/ the truth of Christianity. Division and self-superiority is for morons.

I've seen a manual of Tibetan monks having spiritual cloud battles with each other up on mountaintops... not gonna convince anyone having seen that that somehow Buddhism lack magic and is purely rational.

Kind of makes you wonder whether people actually believe in that, doesn't it?

Like within any religion, Buddhists are not all the same.

There's a koan that goes "If you see the Buddha, kill him!". It's not about committing murder but about that any teaching can and should be scrutinized by ourselves as Old Sid is long gone.

I don't fully grasp their cloud battles, Tibetan were a warrior culture first and heavily soaked in tantric stuff. It showed images of them facing off on opposing mountain peeks doing spiritual battle.

Which explains why they did stupid stuff in the Chinese invasion of Tibet like throw Karma Bombs at invading Chinese troops. If your population believes in Karma.... it's not even then a morale killer. Just silliness. But that's what happens when you let monastics lead the warriors in society.

Basically both Christianity and Buddhism have very rational sides (modern science is a Christian creation) and both have some damn esoteric silliness going on. And I'm a big fan of Dignaga's Wheel and his OODA Loop, I know Buddhism well enough to know they have highly elite, rational philosophers. But they also draw ding dongs on their sutras.
