Do you mean everyone, or one person in particular?

I would say that, like most things, it's important to find out why you don't trust them. If you've been betrayed in the past, you might work on realizing that just because some people are untrustworthy it doesn't mean all of them are.

Another thing is...maybe you're trying too hard? Sometimes you have to relax and let yourself trust, instead of trying hard to trust :)

What do you do when you can't trust anyone and the harder you try the more you don't trust them?
If someone has proven themselves to be untrustworthy. Then you have to accept them as such. You have to forgive them and realize that they are only doing what they have learned to survive.

I know it is very hard not to take it personally. You can only offer them a safe place to be honest, with out judgement or criticism. Most people who are untrustworthy are that way because they have had no one they can trust.

Don't know about other people , but personally I trust myself . Therefoth I trust my impressions of others . More often then not , other people don't let you down . Your own expectations of those people are what let you down . Often , without that person's knowledge ...

People who tend to see themselves as untrustworthy, tend not to trust anyone else. If you view yourself as untrustworthy, it may help to change that image, either by realising you can be trusted, or actually becoming more trustworthy.

Other than that, don't try so hard. Trust is one of those things that can't be forced.

You must spread some Karma around before giving it to Unedited again.:banghead3

I was going to say, either you've been 'let down' or perhaps it could be that you don't have too high an opinion of your own trustworthyness. Good answer unedited!:)
