I would like to understand from members how they would think or believe that the existence of God negates Darwinian evolution. Does it?

Depends on what we assume about this God.
Evolutionary theory is predicated on the idea that evolution is an unguided process. If it were guided by a God, then a significant amount of evolutionary theory would be wrong.
It depends on if you are speaking about a God who creates things without using a developmental method of design and if you're talking about someone who creates the physical world. So if 1. God makes everything from scratch without experimenting and 2. God has made Earth and its creatures...then yes there seems to be an incompatibility. If, however, you don't insist on both of these then I don't immediately see a contradiction.
Exactly. There is no logical nexus between the two.
Maybe god is a real big fan of dominoes? Stack everything up and then set in motion a chain of events just to watch it all unfold.
It is not indeed. Many Christians believe in a God that cannot interfere in certain spontaneous mechanisms.
I believe God to be in the evolutionary processes themselves.

Well... Heat death is a thing. So is entropy.
I love the way things change over time,and evolution carries things to their apex. I also enjoy the life I live and love improving my environment the best that I can. I love living life to its fullest.
Ultimately, though, things will degrade over time; it's just the nature of existence. All things must come to an end some time, so enjoy it while you can.
Edit: Hmmm... Come to think of it, repetition is an element, too. Convergent evolution is testament to that fact.

Same answer as the other thread. It depends entirely on what you believe God is, and how you think we are where we are.
In simple terms, a belief in God, in and of itself, can rest comfortably with evolution. Or even Darwinian evolution, although I admit to some confusion around the term.

In broad strokes:
Evolutionary theory is founded on the idea that three unguided processes - inheritance, random mutation, and natural selection - are responsible for the history and diversity of life on Earth. If any factors other than these three are responsible in a significant way, then evolutionary theory is wrong.
As for how we know it's right... well, it works. It's confirmed by observation and experiment, and has excellent predictive value, This supports the idea that the understanding behind the theory is sound.
