It's about 6c (44f) right now. So not bloody warm.
However, it will get up to a barmy 12c (56f) or so later.

Yes, Australia gets very hot. Just not in mid-winter Melbourne.

I keep forgetting it's winter in the southern hemisphere this time of the year. :p

Yup. Some parts of Australia don't really have winter, more just wet and dry seasons.
But Melbourne has a definite winter (gets down close to zero at night, but no snow).
And a definite summer (40-45c or up close to 120f) at it's peak.

If I ever moved there it would be a lot like here.

Right now on the south coast of NSW we are 11.5 degrees (52.7 F) and raining....
Bit different to the 27 (80 F) degrees we had last week! It’s still winter! Ridiculous!!!

We are in for a hot summer I think.....
