How I view RF

Seeing that others have been creating public threads on the site and how they feel, I'll do the same.

Exploring a trove of fascinating and obscure knowledge on this site has been an enlightening journey, honestly.

However, I've noticed that while members do a pretty good job at trying not to be offensively Politically Incorrect, it sometimes feels like they could do more to truly empathize and understand different perspectives, at least at times. In my opinion.

It sometimes feels like certain masculine viewpoints tend to dominate the discussions, but part of that could be due to demographics as well. I also feel that RF'ers, in general, and at times, tend to be highly skeptical of embracing new ideas - but there are also exceptions where I felt there has been versatility and open-mindedness, when push comes to shove and when necessary.

That being said, I've come to appreciate how adept people are at refraining from reading too deeply into my messages, so I would give points in that area. My communication style tends to be straightforward and transparent, with minimal hidden meanings beyond the occasional pun. It's reassuring to see that others take my words at face value, without unnecessarily overanalyzing or searching for underlying intentions. This mutual understanding fosters clear and genuine interactions, making conversations more enjoyable and meaningful. (Even in cases where I'm shy and may leave some things unsaid.)
