Do you send Christmas cards every year?

How many Christmas cards are send world wide every year? How many trees are cut down for this purpose? How much pollution is created in the manufacture and processing of these cards? (inks, solvents, bleach etc) How much extra mail and pollution from delivery trucks is created. And how long to the recipients of these cards keep them before they end up decorating a land fill somewhere?



I am just asking questions. If you are offended just attribute this thread to another of those evil scrooges and the never ending war on Christmas.

I feel the same, they're a waste of money. I only buy 1 for the wife because she gets upset if I don't.
