How many fields do you dig?

@Sakeenah Let's get back at this, though. On earth when we work, we make money, right? When we pray, we earn money in the heavens account. The question is, what are we drilling into when we pray?

I don't know about you,but I'm not drilling anything when I'm praying.

Prayer to me is standing before God in humility, forgetting about the materialistic world around me, and connecting with God through His remembrance. It's about strenghtening my relationship with God. It has very little to do with 'earning money in the heavens account' it has more to do with inner tranquility.
Yes, God rewards us for our worship but that shouldn't be the main purpose of our worship.

Probably, so. And, just like on earth. One would need some type of coins in order to buy all kinds of virgins.

Have you ever herd of a place called Krabi, Thailand? It's a heaven on earth. If you have money, you can buy (marry) 4 virgins.

Buy 4 virgins? Heaven on earth? I don't think there is slavery in heaven.

For the purposes of this question, feel free to substitute the word "field” with "God" and “rig” with “human” if that better suits your perspective on things.

As a rig, I dig only on one field. My field has promised me that as long I stay loyal to Him, when I die, I will turn into a field and be with him for ever, ever, and ever.

So, how many fields do you dig, and what did your field promised you?

I furrowed my field and planted my seed,

But I wasn't sure how much manure I would need,

So I sold all I owned,

And I bought all I could,

And I piled it high,

And I packed it down good,

And I waited and waited for something to sprout,

But my field just lay there and nothing came out. :(

Anyone thinking their field promised them anything should be contacting a mental health professional.
And please not me. I hear anyone using "field" or "rig" in such a context and the entire office is going to hear me laugh.

I did dig a field once. Dug deep, and deeper yet. But yet eventually I realized it was empty, hollow, and useless. Eventually I realized, why dig in the dirt when I can reach for the stars?

I believe you're making a selective perceptional error, meaning you are filtering what you see and hear to suit your own needs. What is this slavery are you talking about?

I am one with the field, like an unuprootable tree.
I learned a practice from taiji called Bear Embracing the Tree. Without getting into details it's a standing meditation and strengthening exercise. Only rececently did I realize that to fully embrace the tree, the tree and the bear need to become one.

Is this about oil?

I'm not sure I get the analogy. No religion promises salvation for "loyalty". Salvation is in most religions based on good deeds and working out bad deeds. Salvation in Jesus Christ is based on trusting what He accomplished on the cross and in His glorious resurrection.

Please stop. You are really bad at this whole analogy thing.
