How many people on here can astral project and lucid dream?

If "lucid dreaming" is defined as being aware that you are dreaming, I am incapable of not dreaming lucidly. As such, I am genuinely baffled by and unable to understand the notion of others somehow not knowing they are dreaming. Like... how can you not know you are dreaming? How can you not do whatever you want to while dreaming?

As for "astral projection" I don't use that terminology in my tradition; that's a very... how to say... occultist way of framing things? I'm not really an occultist - Western occultism is very, well... western? Heavily influenced by Christian metaphysical assumptions? That's just not my framework as a Druid - mine is more indigenous/shamanistic/animistic/polytheistic. I routinely engage with the otherworlds but it is not something I discuss much. We do not live in a culture that is receptive to or appreciative of the gifts journeywork has to offer so it is nearly always the better part of wisdom to just not talk about it at all if you are a walker between the worlds.

Can? I would guess most, if not all, have the capability to dream lucidly. However, not all will develop that skill to use it at will.

I don't know how many people can astral project. I saw Prue Halliwell do it on TV a few times, but to my knowledge, she's not a member here.

It's quite common for one's dream character to be ignorant of the nature of the reality they are experiencing.

Even more common is that notion relating to the waking experience. ;)

I typically cannot remember dreams or quickly forget. I did have a dream or two that I remembered awareness or at least a realization that I was dreaming. Very few dreams were that memorable, and I remember some nightmares where I was unaware of being in a dream, even though a lot of things made no sense.

Yeah, I remember dreams less as I've gotten older. It's sad. Though I find it depends on time of year.

A more surefire way of remembering dreams is to get up then go back to sleep for a bit. You're more likely to remember that way. Because I wake up when Sun does, during the Light Half of the year I remember more of my dreams (because I'm not gonna get up and get going that early haha).

I think sorta did lucid dreaming once. I had an unhappy and frustrating dream and at some point, I said Screw this dream, I'm gonna wake up right now! And did.

Does that count?

Yes I hear you ,
when we are in control,
Fly Up in the sky on the top of the forests,
or having unimaginable love ,
and yet in control,
you know it is not real, but don't want to wake up,
and when awake just want to go back there ,
just like thousands fountains ,

I will post on dreaming in parallel universe one day ,soon!
universe is amazing..

Enjoy!
