How many times have you seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show?

A friend of mine has twisted my arm to take her to the Rocky Horror Picture Show tonight. She's actually seen the thing about one zillion times to the power of three, but she never seems to get tired of it. How many times have you seen the show? How many times do you want to see the show? Do you tire of it, or is it something you could watch again and again?

Lastly, has the Rocky Horror Picture Show spawned a religion yet? If no, then why not? Seems like it's already a cult.:D

LOL! Carrdero, is it actually possible to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show sober? Has it been done? Who did it? In what year?

The first time I watched it I was sober and I invited my neighbor over and we recited the words off the record* sleeves (the libretto) that you were supposed to say if you were paricipating in a live theater environment. It bombed. The whole experience. I have learned through repeated viewings that the Rocky Horror Picture Show is an acquired taste (the more you see it the more you like it)and if you get the chance to see it at a proper midnight screening with a die hard audience it is almost better than RF.

Oh-I'm sorry, I saw it 14 times.

I've only seen it about six times, the most recent one four years ago. We're going to the midnight show, of course. I love the music, but I still can't see myself ever going to it a zillion times like my friend has.

Too many times to remember...quite often sober:D

Live, I've seen it twice a year, every year since I was thirteen, so for basically for the last decade. That would make it 20 times I've seen it live. Never once missed it when it plays here.

When Carrdero speaks of the right, die-hard audience, believe me, he speaks of the Montreal audiences. They absolutely rock!

I've seen it once...possibly twice. The first time I saw it was at one of my hall's weekly movie nights when I was at Uni...I fell asleep somewhere in the middle and woke up about 10 mins from the end. Think I've seen it on tv since, but I can't be sure.

Well, I've seen it seven times now. Last night, someone brought a super soaker squirt gun (cannon) and drenched the back of my head during the rain scene. They were firing directly at me rather than up in the air. Nothing personal, I'm sure.

A bunch of my friends and I went to see it. Not only that, but we all dressed the part. Lol--I had on these bright red high heels, fishnets, a black corset thingy, and a top hat. It was quite an experience!

The whole point of going is to bring all the accoutrements and make it a happening.

The film itself is stupid.

Since I have the movie, I've seen it several times. Sadly, its not one of my favorites. But my girlfriend LOVES it.

I saw the Stage show in Melbourne many years ago. Just wasn't the same.
Was that back when Craig McLachlan or Marcus Graham were playing Frank 'N Furter?
