As per other comments, I suspect as he was a loner and bullied at school apparently (appears to have been quite intelligent though), perhaps he did this to impress others - or make his mark as so many do.

Obama started no wars and if you claim that some of the actions he took counted that way then Trump at least tried to start wars. I see a lot of nothing there. Just bogus opinions and no facts.Let's see:
1) he is the only one who expressed his sympathy towards Europe for what our continent has been enduring because of the destabilization caused by the Syrian war and the Libyan war
2) he is the only president that has started no war, unlike Bush or his successor
3) he is the only president that loves us Europeans.
4) he is the only president that received Orban talking about peace with Russia.
You may find refuge in that to justify deification of Trump.
But he continued a ware that he promised to end.
And he did launch a war against Iran, but cooler heads
convinced him to abort it. Trump is a dangerous warmonger.
Libyan War...Syrian War...what did he do to prevent these wars?
Read Hillary's emails.
Obama is elected and the next day the Mediterranean area becomes the most destabilized area in the world.

Sorry, but the fact that wars started during the time of other Presidents does not mean that they started them. Try to reason rationally. You tried to claim that Obama started a war or wars. That claim is clearly false.
When Hillary explains me the content of her emails, I will believe they are all peace-lovers from Woodstock.

What has become clear is the DNC has nothing good to run on, so they were planning their patented all out hate and fear approach, which was going to lead to violence and riots. Now they will have to temper it down and their ship may sink. So they pause but go back to it.
I was listening to President Biden talk about the shooting yesterday. The script he read, which he did a good job, was about toning down the rhetoric. I also believe this election season should be more sports than war. In sports, you can play hard, but you are not trying to kill each other. There are certain rules for proper behavior, so it does not escalate to war; all is fair in war. But not all is fair in sports.
What came to my mind, when I was watching Biden, acting like a President for the whole country, calming down tempers; although Trump and Biden, do not agree on many things, what would happen if they teamed up as allies, against the Swamp. The Swamp is trying to get rid of both of old guys. Biden is now in their cross hairs, since those who live for power fear the loss.
Such an alliance could isolate the Clinton and Obama Swamp and help Biden stay afloat, to allow his legacy to end on a high note, even if Trump gets the win. Trump will win either way, but that alliance could help Biden help Trump help Biden get the swamp, who will need to show its seedy under belly if they teamed up. Biden is not happy with their coup against him. Nor is Trump.
