Just came back from a 1 hour walk in sunny windless 19F weather.
Absolutely wonderful...perhaps even a bit too warm.

We in Massachusetts expecting 2' of snow, winds, all and all a white out.
Lovely mild day in London, sun/light cloud, a breeze and 13C. The North of the UK has however been getting a pasting from a gale: uprooted trees, power lines down, etc.

Not too bad here. Generally cold at night and in the mornings, getting down to the low 30F and only occasionally going lower. If I go out at night with an LED flashlight the ground sparkles randomly in a way that reminds me of fireflies. During the daytime the temps can read the high 40's or even low 60's. Our rainy period passed, and we have entered the coldest part of our season only occasionally interrupted by snow or a blizzard. Soon will come several false springs leading into a very cool March, waking the fire ant mounds and preparing us for our June spring season, followed swiftly by several months of humidity, rivers of sweat, mosquitoes, snakes and other unpleasant things. We'll finally see Autumn again around October, accompanied by much rain and leading us towards the beginnings of Winter in December.

It is 47 F and partly cloudy here today in Western Washington State. It has been cold here, which for here is anything below freezing, but there has been no snow. There has also been no rain here for a while, which is unusual for this time of year.
