Messing around as Q does, interfering in peoples lives, screwing it up then zapping away somewhere else and let them sort out the mess. that's taking my cue from Q

It wouldn't change anything since Q's power is the ability to do whatever is necessary to further the plot and in the real world, we have no plot.
