I am a horrible, mean, rotten person.

I just blasted somebodies' virtual buns on another thread because I was appalled at the statements that they were making. I think I my comment was very, very rude, but when I posted it, it was out of anger at what I felt this person was doing. Should I allow it to stay there or should I go back and delete it so I won't offend anyone?

Keep it. Said person has had no problem spewing their opinions, no matter how offensive they may be, so why should you have qualms in keeping yours?

Keep it,

On the side, Feathers, you are one of the most anti-horrible, mean, rotten person persons that I have ever (semi-)met.

Yarrrrgggghhhh, I tried to give you both frubals for your kindness, but I appear to have maxed them out. It was very nice to recieve such nice words from people I hold in such high esteem, though! *hugs to you both*

If you truly feel your post was offensive, just delete it or ask a MOD to delete it. :)

Being the nosey person that I am, I just went and took a look at your offending post. lol! Sweetie, that was not a bun-blasting. Do what you yourself can live with and I imagine that you will never come close to really harming anyone. :)

What the! DOn't give me a heart attack Feathers! I nearly had one when I read this title.

But the fact that you are concerned about another person's feelings shows you are none of the names mentioned in the title.

You could never be a "horrible, mean, rotten person"! You, perhaps, least of all! I'm sorry for laughing, but it's just funny. You're too kind, and helpful, for me, or anyone else to consider cruel. Everyone considers stuff like this at one point, however. I did. Just a while ago, I started a thread similar to this. In my opinion, we tend to be more critical of our own posts than the posts of others. If you view your post not as a single entity, but in the light of the other person's posts, then, most assuredly, you will see that you were justified. ;)

Feathers, if you wanted to be mean, horrible, and rotten, you'd have to pay for lessons in it from an expert -- you yourself just don't have a clue how to be mean, horrible, and rotten. So, keep the post and don't worry about it!

You don't have a horrible, mean or rotten bone in your body. :p

I cannot thank you guys enough. I was incredibly worried about that post, but your kindness reminded me that anger can be a healthy feeling, in the right context. (I'm getting teary-eyed here, so I'd better stop :) )

Seriously Feathers, if you were a horrible, mean, rotten person, do you think you and I would be doing the Happy Pagan Dance on another thread right now? :D

Feathers,

we have so much in common. Quite often you and I are worried people might not like us. We seem scared that we might not fit in.

I understand how you do feel. I said this before and I will say it again. Would one who cares so much about hurting anothers feelings by a simple post be a rotten biatch? No. You are far from mean or rotten. And does not matter who likes you. I like you. Would a person wishing to send e-cards (or whatever they call them these days) be a rotten biatch. No dear. Finally, I would just like to say that the poem I made for you came from both how and what I feel about you.

I learnt a very valuable lesson on this board. To put it, I will translate it in to my own words:

"Friends are quality, not quantity. Value that which you have, for 1 true friend is worth more than 1000 acquaintances"

Soul..

Feathers, I found the post in question in another thread, and it brought to mind something you said to me not so long ago - "you have a knack for phrasing these things so that people cheer you on". ;) You have that knack too. The person in question was being a prat, and has some issues from what I can see (at the risk of understating the matter lol). They obviously didn't take your comments to heart, and you shouldn't either.
