Good to see you here! i haven't been here much either, not out of disgust with this place, but just doing other things, and I moved with my wife recently, and was incommunicado for about 5 days with my computer. I just hope to continue our friendship here. Among other things, being friends with people here is important to me. I make friends more easily online than in person. I want to avoid bad clashes here with people. Those are not good for anyone.
Thank you. Good to see you again too❤️where did you move?
Of course our friendship will continue❤️

I moved close by from where I lived before. We lived in a condo with stairs, and my wife Sara increasingly had trouble with the stairs because she has trouble walking now. So we moved to a senior citizen independent living place that seems to be a good fit for us. There are friendly old people here, and some friendly staff. When I order something for dinner I look at the item on the menu and often don't know what it what it will be like. Usually I'm pleasantly surprised. There are some good cooks here, though I don't always like the fanciness of the item. I'm eating things I never tried before. Since we eat most of our meals in the dining room, we only have a very small kitchen without a dishwasher.

The event I like best is happy hour, where a musician or musicians play for us from 1:00 to 2:00 on Friday. Practically all of them are familiar to me as an old fogey. There was one song that was played today that made me sad. It was a good song, but it involved Karen Carpenter. I don't know if you ever ever heard her, but she had a wonderful voice, but she died young from anorexia. I burst into tears when that song started. It had been so long since I heard that song. Aside from that, I enjoy the live performances.

I knew our friendship would continue. I was just being rhetorical. How could it not continue with a woman like you?:)
