Is there a limit on how many comments I can make in a day? I'm just curious. I genuinely found these threats to be sad that's why I made the comments although I was missinformed on this one and made a mistake

Well I just expressed my sadness. I'm sorry you feel that's irrelevant. Is it causing the thread to pop up in a main page or something or on your interface? Is it against the rules to comment on old threads? This just seems very odd to me.

People make small little comments all the time on RF I don't really understand why it's a big deal
Your comments come off as spammy. They are adding nothing. And yes, it makes these threads show on the new posts list.

Well they're not spam and I am truly real. And if my comments make them appear on the new post list then perhaps it's time to remedy that problem. All the threads that I posted that on almost all the other comments are making fun of the one who posted it saying things like I'd get you some Thorazine it's time for your meds etc. I just expressed a little compassion I'm not really sure how thats adding nothing. But you made it clear that it's not a proper thing to do so I shall adhere.

I don't see them on the new thread list on my homepage but your a staff member so maybe you are seeing all comments on every thread. I don't know

Oh yeah I guess I did notice that before how they do pop up. I just saw under religious debate's they're popping up so I see what you mean. So I guess if one has something really important to say in depth they can on an old thread. That makes sense I hear your point

I don't think it is a big deal at all. I do think it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on what you find to be a sad thread and why
It's not that short replies are never ever allowed. It's that when you post the same short reply over and over again in multiple threads, it comes off as spam and doesn't contribute anything substantive to the topic.
If there is, even I haven't reached it yet.
