I am starting to write again, and was wondering...

As the title says I am after a leave of abscence picking up the pen. I was wondering if anyone wanted to have a character in the novel. I am thinking it will be a world with technology of about the first and second centuries A.D. There won't be any magic per se, well if there is it will be implied and vague.

It is going to be kind of dark, not a very nice place to be.

If you would like a character, tell me name/age/looks/what he or she does/ect.

Edit: Oh, and the way the person thinks would also be great.

could you tell what technology you mean and from what area of the planet? It would be cool if you had a dark, brooding character, a loner, is impulsive, rash, likes to do things his way, is a knight, and has a big, deep dark secret that is a source of his personality. You should choose an appropriate name depending on what area of the Earth the story is taking place. White skinned, long brown hair, ice blue eyes, beard and mustache, wears leather armor and a long sword.

One character that might work for you is the antagonist in one of my medieval stories. His name is Belvorath. He is a high priest of a sacred kingdom, and is also one of its finest knightly-generals. He is 35, 6 foot even, 245 pounds of muscle slabs, white, with a slight tan, long blond hair, clean shaven, a deep eye setting along with blue eyes allows him to give a very intimadating, icy stare. Also, he very skilled with swords and pole-type weapons (spears, halberds, etc.) His purpose, he believes, is to purge the land of all heathens, and anyone who would oppose his lord and king. He does have a problem controlling himself with the ladies after a few drinks, which isn't much of a problem since most women are atracted to him. He also is very pursuasive, either through sweet talk or threats, he gets what he wants. He prefers a polished, very shiny, silvery/platinum looking armor and sword, which his overworked, and under appreciated squire polished and sharpens every morning and evening. He doesn't need magic because of his physical attributes, but he prays to God before every battle, and claims to have a blessed aura.
I would give his D&D attributes, but that would be a bit much.

Okay, I love doing this, so here we go...

NAME: Eleni Mokera
AGE: 25 years old
GENDER: Female
BAKCGROUND: Grew up with extremely devout relatives in the country, because her parents supposedly did not have time for her. They head up a major business involved in technology that funds the government (what kind of government is it, anyway?) Eleni has grown up to despise her parents, and has become convinced that the reason they abandoned her is because what they create is evil and corrupts, and that if she destroys their business empire it will somehow bring them back to her and she can regain the years she lost. She attends a school of technology, pretending to have an interest in repairing and building technological systems - but when you learn how to create something, you at the same time learn how to destroy and cripple it.
Thus, after becoming old enough to leave her relatives (aunt and uncle) Eleni starts a one-woman crusade against the technology of her parents. She begins by hiding her identity and infiltrating their empire by posing as a scientist, and is gradually and single-mindedly destroying technology throughout the country.

GENERAL VIEWS: Overwhelming view of technology as evil. Extremely devout and driven, believes everything she does fulfills the wish of her gods.

SKILLS: Excellent at acting and roleplaying. Knowledgable in almost every technology existing. Good at planning but bad at snap judgements.

CHARACTER SPECIFICS: Bug counterphobia after falling into a large nest of ants when she was a child. Completely indifferent to relationships. Enjoys mass confusion, like that of destroying an anthill.

What type of characters are you looking for in particular? I can help with characters from a High Priest, to fuedal lords and kings, Heroic Knights, all the way down to the lowly peasants, surfs, and wenches.
