I am posting to people on the other side of the world it seems. So most times I must wait a day to get responded to. It is hard waiting.

I am disappointed the turkey bones got chucked. I usually make soup. But there was a surprise guest at the function. He was a guest of the neighbor who is also single like my neighbor is single (I can't think of anything to post on the stupids only thread :)) Her date was from Ohio. And very tall too. He was once a chef. He told us how to make vegetable stock. Do you want to know why? Then keep reading. Her son's friend's mother from Connecticut was also there. She told a sad story about imitation chicken broth. She is a vegetarian and for Passover she likes the idea of chicken broth. So she spent the whole day making a vegetable stock that should imitate chicken stock. When it was ready to be strained it was late at night and she forgot to put a bowl under the strainer. The day's work went down the sink. But for it we got a great recipe for vegetable stock.

I am absolutely stuffed....bursting at the seams almost.....turkey, pie, brussel sprouts, stuffing,
pie, ice cream, green beans, sweet potatoes, pie, wine, beer, cranberries, shrimp, salmon, & pie

Right here, folks. The recipe for 'Revotlistan-Style Haggis'. The hard part is getting a fresh nimrod.

Nah....we've nimrods aplenty here in Revoltingistan.

Btw, I recently feasted on pig's ear & cow tendon at a Chinese joint near here.
I heard they had fish eyes too, but I didn't see'm (too busy eating).
Yum!

I am making vegetable stock. It smells so good! I shall tell you the recipe.

Turnip
celery
carrots
parsnips
brussel spouts
fennel
onions
garlic
zucchini
I did not peel them. I washed them.
cut up and toss with salt and olive oil.
Roast them in a pan at 375 degrees.
after an hour mix tomato paste with some water and pour over the vegetables.
Bake a long time (2-3 hours)
When very tender put them in a large pot. Pour wine in the pan and whisk it good. Pour that in the pot. Add water and simmer for a long time. If there is enough water in the pot you can go away or go to sleep. But not too long or the water will evaporate. That is what I learned on Thanksgiving Day.

The broth I have made. It is beautiful! Next time though less rutabaga, more celery, onions and garlic. The burned vegetables give it a great color but the taste will be lighter with less burning. I might not roast it as long next time.

I am wondering this: Do some people come on forums attached with a bet with their troll friends for how long it will take before they are removed? How else can it be explained I wonder?

I am worried about the word uber attached to my profile. I do not know how it got there. I looked it up and I suspect it means the opposite of humble. It might get me in trouble. I am on my way to change it.:help:

Oh! How about "Freedom fighter"?

That's actually weird isn't it?

One who fights freedom or one who fights for freedom?

How about "Resident"?

I am disappointed. I shall say because I want to that when frubals are given it is between the giver and the receiver only unless of course the frubal receiver thanks the giver in the public profile. Some people do that. I think now I know why. Haha

Oh! There is something else I am wanting to say. It is that a post that is misunderstood OR NOT UNDERSTOOD by the reader does not mean it is a trolling post. OK?

I am not worried that I am not sweet and kind. Really. What worries me is there are people on the list that I have suspected of the opposite. What is wrong with me. That is not rhetorical.

Some people might say to their self how I know people do not read my posts. I look at the who's on line often and it tells where you are on forum. Did you think I was complaining?
