I apologize

I realize I have been rude and insulting to people of other faiths, not only that but rude and insulting, disrespectful to people of my own faith here on this forum. I have been guilty of being a trouble maker, a "troll". I realize this behavior is wrong and inapprpriate for anyone, but it is very wrong for me to act this way as a Christian, i am shaming the Christian faith and not representing Jesus Christ properly. We are told to "speak the truth with love" and if i am cruel and harsh with my words and have no love for my fellow human beings i am worthless. I must stop using harsh language, bad words name-calling, insults, when writing on the 'net. I tend to type whatever I am thinking, and now i see that is a bad idea.

I should not have said what I did about Lady Gaga, I am not her judge. I do not know much about Lady Gaga.

So i apologize to all of those i have offended, hurt, insulted, gossiped about verbally abused with the wrong words at this and all other forums and websites. Please forgive me I am a social blunderer.

I read this in the Bible: " Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

WHy do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, "Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye" when you fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hyporite, first take out the plank in your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. Luke 6: 37

I really want to be the good soil that Jesus Christ plants the seed of the gospel in. I ned to get closer to God, then worry about saving other people.

"Judging" is often a misunderstood endeavor. We do have the ability, and the responsibility, to judge peoples' actions. For example, if I see a guy slapping a girl around, I am well within the boundries of Christian behavior to say it is wrong, its a sin, and possibly he needs to be arrested.

The sort of judging I CAN'T do is say, "That person is going to Hell." Heaven and Hell are judgments only God can make, and I believe that is what the Bible means when it says not to judge. But I can surely make judgement calls when I see people doing bad things.

That was a very courageous and nice post to write!

I haven't actually been a member here long enough to say where I could say I saw an example of this judging behavior...but will take your word for that. It's a humbling experience to realize that we are all a piece of clay to be molded and are never a finished work...but progress towards becoming closer to God is a journey.
It sounds like you are closer in your walk in this journey because of your growing wisdom and the revelation of how you can make God happy about your daily actions. :)

Again, great job!

I am quite willing to forgive you but I think you have misconstrued your sin.

Insults can be an act of love. If I am being repugnant in some way I deserve to be insulted and it doesn't help me if you strokie my ego instead.

It is a false concept that Christians can't judge. Of all people we are the most capable of doing so. However it is not a good thing to judge on appearances and Lady Gaga gives us a lot of opportunity to do so. One must remember that stage acts do not have to reflect a truth.

The person who has his/her picture taken always smiles no matter how bad he/she feels.
