Remember that song by, I believe, 50 Cent?

"I take you to the Candy Shop"?

Well, candy shops aren't all that common in Bosnia. What is popular are shops selling Cevap. It's spicy sausages with sausages rolled up in pita bread - absolutely delicious. But that's not the point, what is the point is this:

Candy Shop Bosnian Style

One more, this is from the Bosnian film Gori Vatra. It's a comedy about President Clinton visiting a Bosnian village.

In this clip they've taken a folk song about Tesanj that goes like:

Tesanj sun is shining bright, I rejoice in the light.

And changed it to:

Tesanj sun is shining bright, welcome to the President. (It still rhymes in Bosnian).

And it's just the funniest thing ever, they sing of peace and democracy he's going to bring.

I laugh hard every time I watch this, I hope you do also.
