I can conclude that Google and FB and Twitter are collecting my data

No matter their political leanings, we're not getting something for nothing. All of these companies are invading our privacy, collecting data about us, and using it against us.

(FWIW, I don't use any of those company's products)

I want royalties because they're making money off my name.

Guess what you do when you use any of these services?

You sign up for an account and within that signing, you click some "Agree to continue" button.

Good luck asking for those royalties. Your solution is simple. Don't use the services under any accounts that can be traced back to you.

Everyone is collecting data online and selling it to other companies as leads. My hope is that some of them will get bored to death looking at my pins on Pinterest ;)

we have to use something, just not Microsoft Windows 10, or Facebook or twitter. Probably Windows 8 as well. I know that Windows 10 is spy software. they can scan through your PC whenever they want. they lost this customer.. i would never use Microsoft anything now. I have a ps4 for gaming.. i used to use a gaming pc, with Windows 10, which i upgraded from windows 7 foolishly, but apparently, they keep trying to upgrade your pc to windows 10.

Yeah lots of companies collect your information. EU gives you the right to have yourself forgotten by companies, but who thinks that non-EU firms will just delete their hard-earned knowledge of your habits instead of archiving it somewhere they think it's safe... there's many US sites I can't directly access now, because they're collecting information in a way that's illegal in the EU.

I still want my royalties.

It's an illegal agreement as there was no venue available for negotiation. I'm sure any unscrupulous and sly lawyer will take up my case and subsequently collect all present and retroactive usage of my name any future use and monetization of my name will be compensated for. Ask any artist or musician.

and using it against us.

This part I find interesting.

I think they profit off us. No doubt.

But, I also think this is where human speech for AI is coming from. I think our online posts are being scored and stored in the cloud. The ultimate goal is for our benefit. But it can certainly be corrupted.

Example: Sophia the humanoid robot.

"Sophia uses voice recognition (speech-to-text) technology from Alphabet Inc. (parent company of Google).

Sophia would ultimately be a good fit to serve in healthcare, customer service, therapy and education. Sophia runs on artificially intelligent software that is constantly being trained."

... and ...

for identifying hate speech on social media.

In addition, if AI can be trained to identify whether and how quickly an individual's hate speech is escalating; it could be used to prevent terrorist attacks and hate crimes.
