that I have never disliked anyone due to their religious beliefs. In fact, most people are very interesting and insightful and sometimes very nice to talk to. Wiccans? Love 'em. Satanist? Some of the sweetest people I've known. Christians? Alright! Muslims? Lovely people. Hindus? They're great. Atheists? Fantastic. Agnostics? Great people. Buddhists? Awesome. Everybody else? Fan frickin tastic.

I do know that I'm not the only person who feels this way, and likewise many people feel differently than I do. What about you? Why do you feel the way you do?

I have never *personally* met someone who would throw acid at someone's face becaude of his religious beliefs, so sure, so far, i can say the same.

I know some people out there though would make me change that if I knew em.

It's not so much a person's religion, but whether they're level-headed and positive or a nutcase, an extremist or just an *******.

Religious beliefs often reflect a person's personality, when they do not shape it outright.

For instance, Muslims and Mormons tend to be very sociable once they have attained a modicum of familiarity with someone. Kardecists tend to be self-centered and at least somewhat in denial and confused about their values. Hardcore Christians tend to be self-righteous and dangerous.

Depends. Based on many factors.

I don't like the Amish because they never talk to us. I just wish once that one of them would come out of their secret hiding place and post in this forum. What are they hiding and why?

I might be able to say the same if I weren't so judgmental of everyone who didn't believe in me while in Middle School. So, I can't really say "never".

I think I can say it's the case these days, however, that I try not to make snap judgments about a person's worth based solely on religion.

They're too busy selling canned goods, trying not to get killed while riding in their buggies and shopping at Macy's.

I've liked nearly everyone I've been in contact with, with a few exceptions. None of the people I disliked was because of religous beliefs or lack of religious beliefs. No one, as far as I could tell, disliked me because I am a Christian.

Even among followers of my least liked religions I have met quite a few people with intelligent, beautiful minds and hearts. Religion is like with all things where you have people up and down the range of those who don't care much, ones who are serious hobbyists, the passionate, obsessed, consumed, etc. It takes a bit of time to know the quantity and quality of influence and true characteristics of what their individual version/flavor of their religion is like.

The spirit of "as long as you are not hurting me/us/others, you can believe whatever the hell you want" is a great part of some cultures and I'm fully on board. Doesn't spare some occasional jabs at their ideologies though :)

People are people, I judge them for the individuals they are,

I never act smart trying to insult other beliefs with sugar coated words and hiding poison in honey,

a religion is just a collection of words that do nothing unless applied by people the way they interpret it that only then we can judge them religiously,

respect should be the norm and disrespect should never take place unless an action is done to cause it,

people should not be demonized for simply being who or what they are...

I... I love you all :(

I'd never miss the chance of talking to you :hearts:

I cannot. Every time I meet some self-righteous piece of garbage who knows he's better than me because a 2000 year old book tells him so, I hate religion a little more.

Nobody in his right mind could dislike you because you were a Christian. On the contrary, I would be willing to bet that a great many people who have interacted with you would think, "Wow! Now if all Christians were like Christine, I'd love Christians."
