And it's not just government. The White Anglo-Saxon Protestants (WASPS) are seeing their privileged social status encroached upon by the inferior castes. They're being "replaced." They resent the effrontery and feel insecure and angry. They blame whoever their strong, all-knowing leaders tell them is responsible.
