I don't get it.

That is why we have juries. I am sure they heard more evidence than is available to the public. Then they decided the case. Of course some may have gotten cash from the trucking company to vote not guilty.

They found the first rider in the group had alcohol level higher than allowed and strayed across the center line. Does that mean all the rider's following him also swerved over the line? Don't get it.

Well you were not on the jury so you do not have all the evidence.

I assume it was a chain reaction collision caused by the first rider. Or at least that's what the jury determined.

And the truck driver, Zhukovskyy was far from clean himself, and even said he caused it

Maybe he was too stoned to take his words serious, though he was the best witness I would say

There must be a good reason why he is free now, after 3 years I think (I am curious what that will be). At least a good example to not take drugs nor alcohol and go driving, and don't associate with those that do. But unfortunately you still can get killed by others making mistakes on the road, however clean and careful you are

Zhukovskyy, who had taken heroin, fentanyl and cocaine that day, repeatedly swerved back and forth before the head-on crash and told police he caused it.

We used to ride a Harley, loved it, but it seemed that other drivers never respected out right to be on the road.

And you "may be" any number of vile and despicable things, but floating unsubstantiated crap like you've done above is irresponsible, corrosive, and emblematic of much that is wrong with today's society. Furthermore, if all I had was what I've read in the linked story, I would be forced to admit a reasonable doubt despite what I might feel.
