I favor Shiites

One nice thing about American intervention in Iraq is we gave power to the Shiites.

All the extremist groups I can think of like the Taliban, Isis, and whatever , are always sunni....

Shiite nations like Iran treat their women a lot better too and give more rights to people.

Shiites are a persecuted minority that gets kidnapped, raped, tortured, disfigured, and murdered for nothing.

All Fallen Shiites in heaven and purgatory who were slain by sunnis, may your spirits be empowered by God to have Vengeance against the sunnis. May almighty God give Victory to the Shiites in all of their skirmishes with sunnis. In Jesus name, Amen!

Anyone else want to join me in prayer for Shiite victories?

Russia was wise to support Assad as the lesser evil.

You are presenting a rather rhetorical shock effect question.

Of course, without further comment, I prefer the view of the Baha'i Faith.

Indeed the Baha'i Faith is certainly the least toxic of all the Abrahamic religions. Personally, I wouldn't be inclined to pat a group on the head that gave rise to Sayyid Ruhollah Mūsavi Khomeini. His empowerment has hardly been good news for Baha'i's living in Iran.

Shiites may have a slightly better case for their deeds than Sunnis, but they are still much too prone for theocracy and therefore fanaticism.

At the end of the day, they are still Muslims.

If anything, they are more inclined to messianism than their Sunni brothers

I prefer Shia also, if I have to choose a favorite Islamic sect. Not because Sunnism has terrorists or anything like that. Extreme people will carry it into any worldview they hold. I see Shia as having the stronger claim to lineage because it goes through the founder's daughter and son in law. If you think Muhammad was someone to follow, it's hard to argue with those credentials. Plus as I understand it, Shia are less hadith oriented, even though they have their own collections- and they invite the use of reason more. Also, because of the Najal, the book attributed to Ali- Shia is inherently more mystical as a tradition.

A none Baha'i source. . .

. . . This Faith is now increasingly demonstrating its right to be recognized, not as one more religious system superimposed on the conflicting creeds which for so many generations have divided mankind and darkened its fortunes, but rather as a restatement of the eternal verities underlying all the religions of the past, as a unifying force instilling into the adherents of these religions a new spiritual vigor, infusing them with a new hope and love for mankind, firing them with a new vision of fundamental unity of their religious doctrines, and unfolding to their eyes the glorious destiny that awaits the human race.Summary Statement – 1947, Special UN Committee on Palestine.

This remarkable new Faith offers humanity its best hope for the healing

I agree with Russia and its support for Assad honestly. Sunni politicization inn these areas are horrible and usually very turned into Wahhabi safe havens after a short time. But it doesn't matter what Iraq is made up of ok religion, it's still a horrible country. Also I've never had any problem with either group and their treatment of women as they are identical.

Saudi Arabia doesn't let women drive but that is from state legality not religion
