Left my other copy at the other house when I moved, but back in business now

Many decades ago, I lent my Satanic Bible to someone.
He never returned it.
I manage to get by without it.

Awfully modern cover art, considering how antiquated the text is.

Did you loose the book somewhere?

I had to leave it at my grandparents' when I moved for uni. The book is out of print so it's a facsimile. I have another book with the same cover art; it just makes it more affordable while keeping old books available for buyers with niche tastes. The other one I own is the Sarum Missal in English.

I had a coworker that lost her Bible. She was really upset by it.

She'd had it for many years, and it was in rough shape anyways. I offered to buy her a new one. She refused, saying that one had too much sentimental value.

I told her I'd buy one that looked just like it. And then I'd put it through the wash, blow my nose in it, and run the car over it a few times, and she won't even know the difference.

She still refused, but that at least cheered her up(and she found it later that week anyways).

I don't understand why Bibleworks stopped making their software, and nobody else picked it up after them.
