I joined a few weeks ago but it took me a bit to start posting. I came back yesterday when I had more time to browse around and decided I like it here. I like that this forum has traffic and activity, it isn't boring. I see plenty of other members that share similar beliefs as me and I enjoy connecting with those people, I enjoy making friends online and offline. Currently I live in a very rural area so meeting new people online is a life saver for me to have more people to talk to. I hope to stay around here for a while. So hello everyone :)

Hello. I followed the link to your blog and read a little. I agree with you that a person's demons are not from without but are from within.
I think many Christians teach they are real people like creatures who live outside a person and which attack from the outside.
I am a believer in Christ, but I am not like other Christians. Are you?

I am definitely not like other Christians. I was raised around conservative Christian people through my childhood in the middle of the bible belt. I never enjoyed it, I never fully agreed with it. I always felt something was off even as a young girl. I do believe in Christ, of course. I believe he was a real man on Earth, and he is more of a role model to me instead of someone to worship. I spend a lot of time decoding the truth in the Bible, and decoding the truth in what Jesus really said. He was here to try to help transform us into what he knew we can be, and so many things that are taught in Christianity are misinterpreted. He came here to simply try to spread the truth about us, to help us rise above, and to unite together like we are supposed to do as humans.

The 'Teapot' song in 'The Perfect Storm' reminds me that what is inside us can be poured out and sometimes we can be surprised at ourselves. We all have rough edges that grind against each other in this rock-tumbler and after some time you'll develop a shine(er) or two. Jesus reminds us to go the extra mile with those who can be difficult.
