I guesstimate half of Americans secretly wish the shooter had better aim

We don't say everything that crosses our minds.
My own brain is filled with spiders & knives.
RF posters don't get to see what roils beneath
my facade.
Like most of us. Still, I do try hard not to wish ill on anyone. Sometimes that means catching and tut-tutting myself, but that only means I'm human.

Thoughts are fine. Actions are a problem.
Like when I daydreamed about putting on the frier gloves and dunking a former bosses head in the hot grease. I wouldn't have ever done it, but obviously she really angered me that day. What harm was done with my mind picturing an extreme when I there's little to be done to keep the job?

Trump mishandling covid is when I realized I'm not actually entirely against the death penalty like I thought I was.
It makes me glad history may very well remember Trump as a mass murderer who's deliberate lies lead to over a million dead Americans.

No, it isn’t. The population in America is roughly 300,000,000 and one percent of that is 3 million.
Your first claim....
"Fact- Not even 1% wish that."

Your 2nd claim....
I think less than 3 million people believing that Trump died from a bullet to the head would be a common sense assumption.

You claim they're the same?

Yes unless my maths off. 1% of 300 million is 3 million is it not?

but they don’t say it, because they fear the blowback
Well, not exactly for me. My son came and told me he was shot and I asked if he was dead. After I thought about it I probably shouldn't have led with that but I have been hoping both he and the other being of old age both passed naturally before the election.

It's not your calculations that are off.
To wish Trump had died is different
form believing that Trump died.

You’re reading it wrong. Let me rephrase. I think it’s safe to assume that less than 3 million people wished Trump had died.
