Sometimes people mean well but not everybody is a steel sound junkie.Staff at group home brought me to place to get food. Loud. Very loud. Did not warn me we were going in. I did not bring earmuffs. Almost had meltdown. Might not be online for a little. I hate it when stuff like this happens.

I have a pair of earmuffs I useI hate places that are noisy, especially with voices.
It's very disconcerting.
And I'm normal....well, that could be argued.
But I'm not autistic.

Oh, I carry little foam earplugs.
They help a lot.
And left in a pocket, they get laundered.
