Well it has taken time, but I finally desided i will get the vaccine too.

I can't live normally where I live without getting it, so today I order appointment.

Very good sensible thing that.do, if your doctbhas given you the OK there is no reason not to.

Yes I have spoken with doctors, and they say it is safe for me to take Moderna vaccine :)

I had the moderna for my first 2 jabs. No problems other than a slight soreness at the injection site.

Pfizer for the booster, again
The only reason i will do it is because it look like it will become mandatory to have it, so I have no choice

I realise this from your posts, however, its the right thing to do to do your bit at beating this virus and protecting other people

Just last weeks more than 4000 cases of new covid sickness here in norway, most of them already vaccinated. I spoke with the doctors today about it.
Do you believe that this means vaccination has
either no effect or a deleterious effect?
Consider...
Fact check: Norway's high vaccination rate led to fewer restrictions
"While health officials largely attribute the decrease to the country's high vaccination rate – 86% of adults have both shots – and note the country reopened gradually over several months, some have used out-of-context stats to suggest the reopening casts doubt on the effectiveness of lockdowns."

With only 14% of your country un-vaccinated, I'd expect more
cases in vaccinated people. Over here, anti-vaxers are much
more common, so they're getting infected more, & clogging up
our hospitals.
Vaccination doesn't prevent infection 100%....it reduces the risk
of infection, the risk of severity, & the risk of spreading the virus
(SARS CoV-2). Ref...

I have been skeptical from day one, losing people related to me did not help my trust in the vaccine.

But I do not say to others "dont get the vaccine" i dont tell others what is right for them.

Don't feel pressured into doing anything.

Almost everyone I know, with a few exceptions, who has gotten it felt pressured or browbeaten into doing it. My sister said I should get it because of my medical conditions... my lumbar fusion, polycythemia vera and underactive thyroid? None of which would be made worse or put me at risk of death. Medical conditions, seriously? o_O I don’t discourage or encourage, it’s a personal decision. My husband asked if he should get it. I told him to decide for himself. But I reminded him his immune system is far from robust. He gets sick at the drop of a hat. So he got jabbed. I’ll get it when I’m backed into a corner, like if a job requires it. Maybe I’m too stupid to understand this, so maybe someone could ELI5 me on it US covid rates. Are infection rates going down as the number of vaccinated goes up? I would hope so.

One should be cautious about assuming that if
someone gets the vaccine & then dies that the
vaccine caused it.
If vaccines were so dangerous, wouldn't you
expect some epidemiological studies to have
found this?
Here's a good explanation of how death rates
work, as applied to Covid 19....
How do death rates from COVID-19 differ between people who are vaccinated and those who are not?

I'm perfectly fine pressuring people into vaccination.
Too many anti-vaxers I know have been terribly sick,
& some have died. Of the vaccinated I know IRL, only
one has gotten Covid 19. He had a mild case.
I also pressure people to....
- Wear helmets when motorcycling, bicycling, skiing, etc.
- Rig machinery safely when transporting it.
- Learn safety protocols if handling guns.

Pressure is good for people in matters of life & death.
I'd rather have CT alive & resenting the pressure, than
lying in a hospital with Covid 19.

One has a right not to take the vaccine and that's where this stops for me. If you don't want it, don't take it.

Folks can tell him that, but for him to give in because he feels browbeaten and for folks to celebrate that is disgusting. It's sick.
When people do something dangerous because
of misunderstanding their own situation, I'd find
it wrong to remain silent or encourage it.

Tis better to make the right decision for the wrong
reason...than the wrong decision for the wrong reason.

Note also that he wants to participate in activities
that require vaccination. This is his given reason.
To participate without this poses increased danger
to others. I find this a compelling reason to advise
vaccination....other people have rights too.
