"I hope the Bishop's children is alright"

I know it's wrong for a bishop to have children or even a wife!!!
So, I'm sorry to say so
But
I'm greatly sorry to beleive that GOD -Himself- has a wife and a child as a belief in the same religion that forbids marriage for some of their followers

Prince of Dorkness!
Our Buddhist Bishop has a wife and children. This does not contravene any regulations or strictures in our tradition and school of Buddhism. The position of Bishop is an elected one, with the electee serving a four-year term.

Sorry, but what religion are you talking about?

I have an inkling feeling that the suspected faith being talked about here is Christianity, or Catholicism..
I think you're right. I don't know of many other religions where the Higher up leaders(Priests, Bishops...etc.) are not aloud to marry and have kids.

Why can't they have a wife and kids? Are we not all God's children, anyway?

Yeah, that's right. Most Protestant ones are allowed to though, I think..

I think it's the whole 'God has a wife and child' thing that confused a lot of people too.. I don't know how many Christians believe God married Mary, but I've never met any. :D I don't take 'Queen of Heaven' to mean 'wife of God' myself though. Hmmm.

It would be helpful and perhaps meaningful if you would restate your question.
Mormom Bishops marry and have children, I've know married bishops with children in "Black" Christian churches, I'm reasonable sure there are many other examples.
So, what exactly is it that you are sorry to to say?
