Then your reasoning is faulty.
I figured you'd just post a meme rather than an answer to explain your reasoning.
Not very well.I figured...
And yet, you did exactly what I figured you'd do.Not very well.
Oh, you're still here.And yet....
Yep, still trying to get intelligent answers from you.Oh, you're still here.
Well, that's settled.Yep...
But they're not free to work somewhere else. They're unlikely to be able to accumulate enough wealth to be able to quit work and go on a job search. If they feel exploited, they're free to work somewhere else where they feel they're getting paid enough.
Or don't you think those workers are intelligent enough to realize that, and need government to do their thinking for them?
Fair enough. The actual quote was, "It would depend on the hypothetical, but we could well see that as an official act"..... and then cuts off due to editing.
Sure would have been nice if the editor would have allowed us to hear the entire answer, just as we were allowed to hear the entire question.
Trump did nothing to lower the deficit. He agreed to cut taxes. One way to help understand Trump's position on taxes is if you give the tax money to the Government, because of the deficit and Big Government inefficiency, the tax payers get about a (minus) -22.7% rate of return on their tax investment. This gets worse each year. For every dollar we give them, they throw away almost a quarter, fall behind, and then need to borrow more to make up for it, making the interest payment worse, next year.
None of your MAGAs can come up with anything to lower the deficit, and you offer no ideas, just the usual complaints. How do you expect anything to change if you have no ideas?Note: The USA Government collected $4.4Trillion in tax revenue in 2023, and will now throw away $ 1 trillion for - 22.7% rate of return to pay the interest on the debt.
The interest of the USA national debt has reached $1trillion per year. That is the interest per year and not the debt. This was made worse by the Biden economy, since the Fed had to raise interest rates to stem off inflation. This made the interest rate on the debt go up. This down the toilet amount is more than we spend on the military.
If we give the taxpayer back their money, even if they put it under the mattress, they make the nation money, since even a zero rate of return is better than -22.7%. If you give taxes back to corporations, the growth in the GNP is a positive rate of return. If there was not government mismanagement, Social Security would still be solvent and many other needed programs would have funding.
The boneheads need help and accountability; balanced budgets, and tax refunds until they can show more responsibility. The extra tax rebates to consumers and business, multiply the GNP for a positive rate of return for the whole country.
One work around may be a tax return that each tax payer, can use to buy up national debt and get interest revenue. Even that is a positive rate of return but will be misused by the bonehead leaders, to add to the debt and higher interest payments. The bonehead need to be taken out of the equation until they trim the fat. Trimming the fat can be their revenue stream.
At least you agree with me about your actions, even though you had to edit the quote to hide it.Well, that's settled.
None of which was manifested during his first term in office.Fair enough.
Fuller cut.....
The point is, now confirmed by the current corruptly biased and off their nut-house crazy train SCOTUS. Yes. The POTUS is allowed to have anyone assassinated as an official act. It is purely on the "honor" of the POTUS to decide what is a threat to the USA, and therefore something he/she can "officially" sanction.
Only naïveté allows for the slightest thought that this will not end badly. Trump in particular will obviously have no qualms what-so-ever about exploiting this for his previous crimes, and if made POTUS again, to utilize this new power to commit MUCH worse crimes.
What does your comment have to do with anything? We were discussing how someone as corrupt and self-serving as Trump might exploit the clearance granted by the SCOTUS in only the last week. This has nothing to do with the timeframe of Trump‘s last term, (and God willing it was truly last final never to return term).None of which was manifested during his first term in office.
What I was saying is that he's already had a first entire term in office to demonstrate that he has no intention of starting wars or overturning democracy (whatever that means). The accusations are just fearmongering from those who would rather vote for his opponent. They are not based upon any past actions, other than ones people like to mischaracterize to suit their claims. What does your comment have to do with anything? So. Looking at what he DID do during his first term, and the promises he is now making as to what he would do if granted (by the misled) a second term, given that he could now do ANYTHING that he wants, as long as he can convince his hand-selected corrupted right-wing SCOTUS.
He assassinated an Iranian general, and almost started a war.
He attempted to overthrow the Federal government of the USA, so as to keep himself in power.
He passed one major act, a tax break for millionaires and billionaires only. With a last minute add-on for commercial real-estate companies (i.e. His own).
He has repeatedly claimed his opponents are corrupt, and promised to send the military after them if he becomes POTUS again.
Should we be concerned?
hint: YES!
