If you have a MySpace profile, add me as a friend. I currently have exactly zero friends and it's freaking me out. LOL :D Plus, I like my RF'ers.

Come on, guys. ;) Let me hook you up. It's only a matter of time before there's 700 vendictive, single, Bosnian Muslim women on my profile. LOL

Yeah. It's like a networking thing. I had one a long time ago, but I deleted it after a falling-out with a friend LOL (inat, again)

Just sent you a friend request. Be careful though, MySpace is almost as addictive as RF. I am finding that out the hard way

You are actually my 40 friend now!! I know that doesn't seem like something to be excited about, but that is somewhat of a milestone for me.

I love MySpace - hahaha.

I'm convinced half the population of Turkey is actually Bosniak. When I was in Izmir, I met like three or four people from dozens who WEREN'T somehow Bosniak. And now, on MySpace, I get this:

Subject: Hej Bosanka
You have a wonderful smile... İ'm not trying to be cheesy.. it's the truth:)

Hows life in Bosna? İt's funny cuz İ'm bosnian as well.. My dad is fluent. Most of fam members speak bosnian.. İ dont. Samo malo.LOL Your name sounds Brezilian...

Hahaha - what are the odds? I swear to God all of Turkey is Bosnian! Wait and see, I will prove it! Their website says 45,000 Turks born in Bosnia, and 3-4 million Turks of Bosnian descent. But I think it's more, I really do. LOL

What an interesting discussion! It is nice, the different people you can meet on MySpace. I met another Turkish guy, and he looked like of Slavic so I asked was he Bosniak - and he said "No, I'm too short and I don't own a gun" - hahaha.

So I was asking him what is the impression of Bosniaks in Turkey and he said they think of us like Italians are shown in American movies. Nice shoes, close families, big obcession of family honor, often mafia, etc. And I asked was it for all Bosniaks, or just Turkish Bosniaks, and he said just for Turkish Bosniaks.

He was telling me that in Turkey it's very unpatriotic to not assimilate completely but Bosniaks and Kurds, who are Muslim, and Armenians, who are Christian, are the three groups that seem exempt from this, because their numbers are so high in the regions where they live, that their culture and even language in some cities becomes dominant.

And I asked him about fashion, and he said Bosniaks are stereotyped the least fashionable in Turkey - hahaha. Because their women wear 1950s-style gowns, only more modern, high heels, hair always curled, like old movies. He said the two biggest mafia families in his city are both Bosniak families, but one is really mixed with local Turkish families.

That's so weird.
