Don't feel too bad, sweetie. I'm living in my hometown, and I still need to find friends............they've all moved away or have been out of touch for a while.

I know what it's like to feel lonely. Look to your local Chamber of Commerce or newspaper for community groups or gatherings to go to. Or sometimes there are notices up on bulletin boards at bookstores and libraries for activities and such. Those are great ways to meet people who are like-mided because you all had a common reason to get together.

Don't give up. You're a great person who can make either lots of casual friends, or a couple of very close friends, or both. You can do it. :flower:

Peace,
Mystic

Coffee shops seem one of the best places to make friends. When I first came to Colorado Springs, I knew no one here. I started going to a coffee shop for the coffee, rather than to make friends. But I made friends anyway because a coffee shop is such an easy environment in which to meet people.
