Yes, With selective reading.
I can’t speak for the Koran.
As you know, the Bible is a huge book, and it sets forth specific ideas throughout its entirety. If one has an inaccurate understanding of a particular aspect, they will eventually (during comprehensive study) and inevitably find other verses that contradict their view which can’t be reconciled.
I’ve adjusted my understanding many times, in studying it. And Luke 10:21 is important....it can’t be discounted. No amount of wishing will change it.
Take care.
Luke is important? I guess so, it is so vague,
you can infallibly interpret it most any way.
What does it mean to you?
Inaccurate understanding. And you think
there really was a flood.
All you guys think you have special god-granted
powers that give access to arcane knowledge.
It has huge appeal to the lower rungs of society,
so's they can be wiser, richer than them stuck up
rich and college educated people. The snobs,
they will be sorry!
It appeals to anyone who can talk himself into
believing it, or, talk others into thinking he has
these powers, given "of" god.
But, you know, it is all lo here and lo there. One
infallible always contradicts another.
Seeing your track record on interpretation of other
things, such as ye frozen mammoths, sorry-ah,
I would not rely on your interpretation of a street map.
