I'm proud of myself. Aint never put together a shelf before.

This is after putting the sides together

Then came the tricky part of putting the back on when I have no hammer. At first I used a heavy book in a box thinking the box would take the damage because I didnt have anything else heavy I could use to hammer with. But I believe books to be sacred and the box was getting torn up tho the book was unharmed I didn't want to risk the box not holding up and the book getting destroyed. So I thought for a bit more and went outside got this:

that worked and even better then a book in a box.

Now I just needed to add shelves

There's my new altar

Thanks. I enjoyed putting it together I forgot how much I enjoy doing stuff like that. Back when I was living with my grandma anytime something had to be put together she'd have me do it cuz I would love it and would actually be able to put the item together without it falling apart. She had me do this putting together a bed rail for a disabled foster kid, exercise equipment,a chair...shed also have me do things like put up curtains, blinds, basically anything small involving screws...but she never had me build a shelf or try to hammer something(even with a rock).

My next step is to put wallpaper on the inside since I accidentally put the back on backwards

Perhaps you can prise it off with a knife, retrieve the nails and re stone/ hammer it on...

Looks good, well done

When you move it's worth investing in a few handy tools, hammer screwdriver and phillips driver, pliers mole grips. Add to when needed as time rolls on.

Oh hell no that took a lot of work to stone on im not doing that again

So how about a tin of paint stain (the right colour of course),
You'll need a paint brush and masking tape.
Depending on the stain (oil or water based) you may need a small bottle of white spirit to clean the brush with (and clean up any spills ;-)
