Why is it so hard to keep simple mathematics apart from your form of metaphysics? You are unnecessarily joining the two.

It's not my proof, though, brahhh. I actually came across it here on RF a while back, originally posted by Skwim, if me remembers correctly ^_^ ; it was the first time I had seen that "proof" after a few years of not encountering it since high school, thereby quickly saving Skwim's post. But, I love creative proofs like that.

There's another one:

1 = 3/3

3/3 = 3*1/3
and
1/3 = 0.3333... (3 is repeated infinitely)

Thus:

1 = 3*0.3333...

which is

1= 0.9999...


(Disclaimer: Don't take this as a proof of anything. It's just a funny thought experiment. It's not really a problem since the ratio is a limit in this case.)

Hehehe. I have never come across that one before. It's very cute. I like how 3/3 is "broken" into (3)*(1/3) and how (1/3) is "decimalized". If you have more, please do share.
