Now i want to know that exact christian view -if there is an "exact" one- on the term "God's son" ,and discuss it
God (swt) says in the Quran 6:101
The Originator of the heavens and the earth! How can He have a son, when there is for Him no consort, when He created all things and is aware of all things?
God has no consort, how can he have son ? please explain,if you attribute sex to him.

Jesus was God's Son Born to the Virgin Mary... How he did it we can not tell, however it is with in the power of God to do this.

In some sense we are all God's children.

Some see God as Male others as see him as sexless, some religions talk of mother God, we do not know how God regards himself in this matter.

I Believe God to be incorporeal so has no sex.

So God decides we are all sinners and need redeeming, causes Mary to have his son in a stable and then sends some wise men along, inadvertantly causing thousands of babies to be slaughtered on Herods instructions if memory serves. That wasn't a very well thought out move was it god? Didn't see that one coming?

So Jesus grows up and gets killed so that we can all be redeemed in the eyes of god. An evolution of the burnt sacrifices in the old testament perhaps? After 2 days being dead, Jesus is alive again and ascends to heaven to be with his dad. What is the big deal?

Many humans have been killed for their beliefs and they are never coming back to life.

well, the Quran say that God has no Son and that no one earth has ever been like Him.

yet in the Gospels, Jesus identifies Himself with God in a number of unique ways, even while stating that He is distinct from the Father.

Jesus says in John 14:6-9 that if we have seen and known Him (Jesus) we have seen and known the One True God. and in John 5:23 He says that we are to honor Him just as we honor God, the Father. elsewhere, He reveals that He had glory in the Father before the world was made (John 17:5).

so for this reason, Christians identify the Lord Jesus as the second person of the Godhead. He is God, yet not all of God, as the Father still reigned in heaven while Jesus was on earth.

we say He is God's Son for a number of reasons- He is like God, and does things only God has the authority or capacity to do. He forgives sins, willfully controls the elements, gives life, and knows what is in the hearts of mn before they speak.

He is also God's Son becase He was born of the Holy Spirit, and so shares in God's qualities and nature. God begot Him into existence in history without Yosef, but by His own Spirit, will, and power.

Jesus is certainly male- He came to earth as a man of flesh and blood, and still has a glorified body today. we say this because we believe He is risen from the dead, and alive forever. Jesus calls God "Father", and teaches us to do the same.

to compare, in the Quran Allah is always translated into English in male terms, and i've never heard a Muslim refer to Allah in English as anything but "he".

Have you not heard the story of the virgin birth? The incarnation?

Virgin birth of Jesus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jesus (pbuh) is the son of Mary and was born miraculously this what we believe in Islam not a son of God .But I was asking you about God Quran 6:101
The Originator of the heavens and the earth! How can He have a son, when there is for Him no consort, when He created all things and is aware of all things?
God has no consort, how can he not mary (God created all things including jesus and marry) have son ? please explain,if you attribute sex to him.

We Muslims believe the same that God is genderless.but if you think jesus is God as well then you think God is a male (a man) , if you think God is father then a father is also a male.
But how can a genderless have son,God as we all believe has no consort.

I did not say that God had to impregnate Mary in the way a man does, Nowhere in the Bible does it say that he did; nor did I say that because Jesus was man so must God be.

Jesus whilst on earth was wholly man. In heaven he is one substance with the Father. (With out gender)

I use father when speaking Of God, because we use that in the sense that we are all his children.

The concept of the Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit is indeed complex and is not clear even to many Christians. Like many things concerning God there are gaps in our understanding.

However the best form of words to help clarify this is to believe that are all of one substance. They are “collectively” all One God.

An analogy might be a house where three people live. When you phone them, you can not tell who will answer… but whoever does will give the same answer and speak with the same voice.

We know there are three because Jesus came to earth and was borne as a man and taught us; whilst here, he prayed to God His Father.

The Holey spirit Guides us and comforts us, Jesus confirmed that.

God in heaven is just that, the Almighty God Creator and loving Father of us all.

These are the God (singular) in three persons (plural)
This concept would be impossible to any one but God.

Jesus after being crucified and rising on the third day ascended in to Heaven, He assured us the Holy Spirit would remain with us always.

It is clear no Muslim, from first to last, has as ever had the faith to understand this, else they would be Christian.

Jesus (pbuh) is man (male) and as many christians claim Jesus is a "son" (male) and God is a father a (male), Marry is mother (female)
We Muslims belive that God has no gender or sons.

Please explain, why do you use the words "children" and father no one can have more than one father.
And since you agree that God has no gender or does sex.and created every thing
Then how can he have a son ? God is the creator of Marry, So he has to be creator of jesus, not his father.

Three people can live in one house, and we all live in the same planet but that doesn't make as one object...If jesus is God himself then please explain how can he be a son of himself and a father of himself.if Marry was created then how can anybody be the creator of his mother,or a mother of her god.

I have explained it all to you... simply twisting the words to your own lack of understanding Proves nothing.

You are denying and limiting the power of God.
What God is or is not is his own decision.
What he can choose to do is also his own decision.
You should not deny his ability to have a Son.

We describe all Mankind as the children of God.
This does not imply he personally sired them all.

Mary was borne in a natural way with a mother and father.
She was a Virgin, and God willed that she become pregnant with her son Jesus, God was his only Father.

You explaind nothing, just by saying " we can't tell how" you explain nothing.

Not jesus and no one at all,
The Quran 19:88-93
They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!".Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!.At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin,That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son.Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant.

About trinity

you didn't reply at all.

I have replied ...You have not understood.

This is a Christian Forum ....You may ask respectful questions in it... not Debate.

Your reply...They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!".Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!............etc.

Is unacceptable and insulting on a Christian forum.

Discuss Individual Religions forums are for learning and fellowship and no debating
I am learning, i asked the christians to explain to me how can God have a son.you replied "we can't tell how".I thank you
Maybe others would want to explain .
.For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son
{Noble Quran, chapter Marry, verse 92}

OK, I'll give it a try.
If God wanted to put boobies on a squirrel and call it a dwingledoodle, is God entiteled to do that? I think you would agree with me God is entitled to do that.

Now, to your OP. The problem is you are coming into a Chrsitian Forum as you say to learn. Yet you introduce the Quran. The Quran has no place in this forum.

If The Quran says God can not have a son, than obviously a learned Christian would disagree.

As pointed out with the dwingledoodle, we believe God can do and create whatever he wants, that includes a Son.

If you want to debate that (and it smells like you do) start a thread in the debate section. However, if I looked I bet you already have somewhere.

Quran explains why doesn't God have a son and asks: how can he?!
Thank you for replying
I agree that God can create whatever he wants,a son is never created by a father but rather begotten,he created everything are all things his son?
6:101
The Originator of the heavens and the earth! How can He have a son, when there is for Him no consort, when He created all things and is aware of all things?
And if wants to have a son then why does he have only one son? God has no begining so creating things has no beging as well,he didn't wait for an unlimited time till he finally created us. So how can jesus be the first and the only one son?

You are still debating in a DIR. If you continue you will be reported.
You have been told the facts.
God can do as he pleases, He can create or Beget, or any thing else that is his will.
You deny the soverign power of God.

I said that I'm learning, again "we can't tell how" explains nothing.
You may call it learning what you are doing, but obviously you are not learning. It has been repeated this is not the right forum for discussing the quran vs the bible.
The bible says one thing the quran says a different thing.
WE GET IT YOU THINK THE BIBLE IS FLAWED.

So to get a different answer you will have to post in a debate forum.

i'm not denying that, J. all i'm saying is that in every Quran i've read, Allah is a "he", and every Muslim i've ever heard speak about Allah in English uses the term "he".

obviously, Muslims don't believe that Allah has a gendered body, or is a "man". still, i've noticed that when translated, Allah is generally refered to in more "male-ish" terms than not.
