The Bible refers to many being the "sons" ( English definition is "follower" ) of the Almighty. Sons replace their fathers. The Creator of the universe does not need replacing. Rab ( teacher ) and Muslim ( one who submits to The Almighty ) Jesus ( Yahushua " Yah" is salvation ) never taught anyone to worship 'him' instead of the Creator. He is sometimes called the 'king of the Yehudis' but he is not the King of the Universe.

based upon what i read in the Gospels, i have no scriptural or theological issue praying to Jesus. He is my personal Shepherd and Lord (both names He gives Himself), is risen from the dead, and is Someome who has promised to be with us always, even until the end of the age.
He has the power even to forgive sins, and give life to the dead, a power given to Him by God, from whom He came, and with whom He had glory before the world began.
He came to save people, to be the light of the world, and to do His Father's will. anyone who knows Him knows the Almighty God, and anyone who beongs to Messiah belongs to God.
so if a person knows, has been saved and changed by Messiah Jesus, and now follows Him in the Spirit of God, one is on solid ground.
