Who Do You Side With??

Take the quiz to learn which 2016 United States presidential candidate you side with most on the issues.

I side -
96% with Bernie Sanders.
83% with Hillary Clinton.
83% with Joe Biden.
75% with Martin O'Malley
58% with Lincoln Chafee
37% with Rand Paul
28% with Mike Huckabee
28% with Jim Webb
27% with Jeb Bush
25% with Chris Christie
21% with Bobby Jindal
19% with Donald Trump
16% with John Kasich
15% with Ben Carson
13% with Linsey Graham
10% with Carly Fiorina
7% with Marco Rubio
5% with Ted Cruz
3% with Rick Santorum

As an added note, my result now says I side 98% with myself down at the bottom. I took the quiz more than once and I guess my answers varied a little bit...

My Ideology: "Left-Wing"
"Your political beliefs would be considered strongly Left-Wing on an ideological scale, meaning you tend to support policies that promote social and economic equality."

Sounds about right.

I'm kinda excited about politics these days. I registered to vote and am going to vote for the first time ever next year :D

The title of this kind of irks me. Agreeing with someone is not 'siding' with them, necessarily. I may agree with a significant amount of Bernie on policy but I side with Clinton's campaign.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Apparently Marco Rubio is my man with 87%.

Ben Carson is third down the list with Hillary just underneath. EEK!!!

Sorry. It's not my wording. The website is called "isidewith.com," so that's the title I gave the thread. On my own percentages list, there are candidates I absolutely hate higher up than others who I would be more likely to vote for. Maybe there is some policy I agree with Donald Trump on more than Carly Fiorina, but I'd vote for Carly over Donald based on the debates I watched. Policy doesn't erase arrogance.

Of course, this quiz shouldn't tell anyone who they should vote for. I would advise everyone to watch the debates and research over taking a quiz and voting for whoever the quiz tells you to. I think this quiz would probably be most useful to people who vote for their candidate based on political party alone. For example, if you've been voting "republican" for thirty years without listening to any of the issues, maybe you'd take this quiz and find you don't agree with republicans as much as you thought (or vice versa.) To an informed voter, their results shouldn't mean much of anything.

I understand your point. But there are party voters that are also informed. Myself, for instance. I will always vote for the same party regardless of candidate -- but I am still informed as to the issues and political state of our country.

But you can't foresee how times and ideas will change... Your party might evolve... or you might, to agree with a different party later. I called myself a republican when I was in middle school... I am far from that now. (I suppose I wasn't particularly informed back then though.)

Yes, it is theoretically possible that the parties will morph to the point where I no longer vote in such a way. But for the foreseeable future, I vote along party lines.

Bernie Sanders 98%

(In terms of Party, it says Green 93%, Socialist 91%, Democrats 90%)

Left-Wing Authoritarian

Your political beliefs would be considered strongly Left-Wing and moderately Authoritarian on an ideological scale, meaning you tend to stand up and protect those who are oppressed or taken advantage of and believe the government should do the same.

And that is also the first time any test has called me 'authoritarian'.

Interesting - 89% for Joe Biden, Hilary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders. Now, I doubt I agree with any of them that much, but I think it points to the fact that I don't really care all that much who wins as long as it's a Democrat. Not that I'm a hardcore Democrat by any means - just that they've been the clear lesser of two evils for quite some time.

I got:

86% - Bernie Sanders (Go figure)
85% - Joe Biden
84% - Hillary Clinton (I do not like her at all...)

And near the bottom 56% - Donald Trump (I apparently agree with his Economic and Electoral Issues).

What? Me worry?
Trump, which is unfortunate. I do not believe he would be a good president, but I don't think anyone else running (on either side) would be a better one.
