I think i got a tiny proof God listen in on my prayer :)

Spirit of Light

Be who ever you want
Yesterday my ex girlfriend called me and told that she was in a need of some help, she had fully run out of money and had no more food to eat, she will get money this coming monday, so she asked if i might be able to help her.
Unfortunately i am in a very similar situation my self, so i told her i will do my best to find a solution.
After calling some friend and family i was still empty handed and my only option was to make a prayer.

I normally do not pray any extra prayer then those 5 times a day, but i though, i need guidance.
So i prayed for some guidance. And called back to my ex girlfriend and told her i had not been able to help yet.

Moving on to todays afternoon.

I recieve a new Phone call from my ex girlfriend, someone she had not spoken with for years had just called and asked if everything was ok with her. My ex girlfriend recieved her help. The person who had called had been able to send money, so now my ex have food for the weekend :)

All i can say is thank you Allah (pbuh)

Guidance is the most necessary, indeed. For the world is full of deceptions, lies, falsehood. But I have other prayers as well, and I hope God answers those asap.

Perhaps as a brother in humanity, could you please pray for me as well?

if that works, can you please pray so that the usual 15,000 kids who are bound to die today, as every day, do not die? That would be more useful than finding some money for some girls in Norway, presumably not on the verge of starving to death.

that would offer an even greater bit of evidence for God existence. And if those15,000 still die today, as every rational person would expect, despite praying, then Allah, wbuh, must prefers girls out of money in a prosperous country, than 15,000 dying children in poor countries.

Or, vastly more likely, He simply does not exist. Which would be the best excuse for Him really.,wbuh.

Of course i can pray for that, but even if i pray it is not certain suddenly all death stops, it is not up to me to tell God how to handle those things, but praying for peace and good life for those who suffer can be done.

Do you think it will work?

Prayer isn't universal. People see answers within their own experience, perspective, and things like that. So, if I prayed for my mother not to be diagnosed with cancer, it may or may not be answered because my experiences and biases form whether I called it an answered prayer. If I prayed for thousands of people to not be diagnosed with cancer, I don't have that personal connection with that many people to know if my prayer was answered. No bias to determine the nature of the "answer." So, that's why prayer is personal. The answer is from the person's interpretation.

That's how I see it. So, personally, looking a little bit into prayer-life myself, I don't see it as answer from someone else to save the world. It's more my interpretations are shaped (gratitude, and all of that) by the world interacts with me-so to speak. The more spiritual a person is, I believe, the more they are aware of things that they are grateful for. The difference between spiritual and non-spiritual is just the application of the prayer source not the prayer and "answer" itself.

"wbuh" - "woe be upon him," perhaps? Based on the context, that was my guess.
