I want to publicly apologize...

Feathers in Hair

World's Tallest Hobbit
For any comments I have made, especially over the last few days, concerning those among us who have wealth. In my frustration, I have said some things that weren't very kind. I regret doing this, and fully acknowledge that there are many, many people who demonstrate that having money can also mean having the ability to be very generous with it.

Again, I apologize if I've offended anyone.

Are you on the right Forum, Feathers ? - I have seen nothing that gave that impression..............

I'm sure our betters would forgive us all...i too have learned a lesson today.
Without the rich, who'd save all the heart of gold hookers from themselves à la Pretty Woman?

Hmm... A good lesson. Was it imparted from the wisdom of TNT? (Don't have TV guide with me, so can't see where it was airing, hehee!)

Michel, I should have specified that I was more worried about having possibly offended someone through inference than about any actual posts I might have made.

 You? Offend? Feathers, that hardly seems remotely conceivable. I obviously didn't read the posts you were concerned about, but there is no one on this forum who tries harder to always say the right thing than you do. Please, don't worry about this!

Oh Feathers, I think we all know you well enough to realize you would never say or do anything to offend another. Not to worry! There's no one here who could ever think otherwise. :)

Feathers, are you suffering from post-Sekhmet angst? :p Relax, woman! The one and only person I've ever seen you offend, was out of their tree to take offense in the first place. :biglaugh:

I was reminded to get my hiney over here and explain that, yes, Bastet- as you so wonderfully put it, it is post- Sekhmet angst! I was unleashing 'the lioness' (okay, really, the tigress, but I'm going with the Egyptian panthon, here) on someone, and then came back and realized I may have trampled a few feelings in the process. Since a few of my comments were economics-related, I was primarily concerned about that.

So now I've learned my lesson! I will no longer jump to the conclusion that I might have offended someone, unless they're out of their tree. (That was the guy that left, right? Unless, oh, dear... Nope! I'm not even gonna think that I might have offended someone else! *puts fingers in ears to stop brain from chatting*)

Hi all! Iv'e missed you too. Been working on my CD. I finished the recording of my voice and the music, now it is down to the final mix and compression of the disc.

The biggest problem is creating a title. Just my luck, it is all finished but I don't know what to name it!:) It's like having a baby, you want to have a perfect name that will convey your hopes and dreams for your creation. I would have named it Feathers, but that is already taken.:)

I'll keep you posted on the progress. Love you all and thanks for the welcome.

Joyfully,

Martha

That is so cool Martha . :) I'm looking forward to hearing more about your baby . I would say that perhaps the forumites could help you think up a name , but if it is that personal ... Oh well , I'm sure that you will come up with the perfect name .
