'I went to a Trump rally in a Hijab...'

Anybody can beat the likes of Hillary Clinton, she is so fake and so full of ****.
lol ... I understand that is your opinion of her, but, obviously, everyone doesn't agree with you. What candidate presently running do you think will be able to beat her? Do you think that Sanders will get the nomination?

Hillary Clinton along with her husband Bill Clinton are baggage with scandals and lies, that is their legacy.
And, yet, Bill Clinton is still one of the most beloved Presidents in modern history ... so, maybe the "scandals and lies" don't matter all that much to voters. Which brings me back to my question ... who do you think can beat Hillary?

But, Trump has no chance in the national election. Even in his own party he is going to have issues. Either you love or hate Trump. And, Cruz is beating him in a lot of polls, but he would have the same issues. Imho, Trump is probably the scariest candidate in the running right now, as it seems obviously clear that he doesn't have the demeanor to be President and can't handle criticism. He also has a lot of ridiculous sounding plans and has yet to explain how he would accomplish them. In short, he might have great business sense, but running the country is just about as similar to running a business as eating an apple is to winning a marathon. Not to mention, he's just despicably mean spirited.

You really think that Trump could win a national election? I mean, he's having trouble with Republicans as it is, and we aren't even to Iowa yet. Cruz seems to have a much better shot at the nomination, but I still don't even think he would stand a chance in a national election.

About Hillary, we've learned that no one cares about Benghazi anymore (except conservatives ... and she's not getting their votes anyways). No one cares about the email thing (except conservatives ... and she's not getting their votes anyways). Most Americans love Bill Clinton (except conservatives ... and she's not getting their votes anyways). So, what is going to come up that people even pay attention to?

She is those things and more. She is a savvy, rich and connected political battle axe.
That is why she is favored to win.
You are too much of an idealist.

Donald Trump should announce that he will not accept the salary of the POTUS, and that if he is elected president he will donate 1.5 + million dollars to the "Wounded Warriors" project. Hell, he can afford it.

To be clear, I am not a Hillary supporter, either. But credit where credit is due: Hillary and Trump both have glaring blemishes that need to be taken into serious consideration.

If it comes down to Trump and Hillary? I'll vote third party. Just cant put my vote to either of them.

I still don't quite get why anyone would even consider voting for Hill Hill. Has she actually accomplished anything of note?

I agree with the Islamic problem Mr. Trump brings to the surface. While it is not the average Muslim which is the immediate threat, it is the potential Trojan Horse the refugees could represent. How many Muslims here would rather die than support an Islamic extremist terrorist leader, supposing one surfaced in the West? Would you be willing to die rather than obey the commands given by this leader? At risk of going against your religion and being in danger of damnation in that religion, according to the leader? How many average Muslims do you think would give their lives rather than join such a leader? Would the average Muslim be beheaded or even tortured rather than behead or torture those they have been told are infidels? Ask yourselves, all of you. How easy is it to be a "peaceful Muslim" now, when your necks are not on the line due to some radical extremist Islamic leader? How "peaceful" would you be? Can you speak for all Muslims?

I wonder what kind of reception I'd get if I went to a Hillary rally in a kilt?
And what if I wore a shirt too?

I am not sure what the point is of the OP? That Trump supporters would kill a Muslim or something who shows up at a rally?

Well, if that was the agenda, reading this article, I get exactly the OPPOSITE message, like the Muslim lady says in the article:

"And nothing bad happened to me at the rally: there were some hard stares and dirty looks, but no outright rude behavior."

So what is the point of the OP? This Muslim lady was treated fine. In fact she made it clear that she enjoyed some of the nice conversations with the Trump supporters. If this is suppose to be some "attack" on Trump supporters, it was a pretty lame attack.

As far as "crazed" Trumpers killing people, I am sure there are some who might have attacked or even killed someone in any crowd, what is the point? There were violent people at plenty of "peace rallies" I have seen in the decades past. This is a waste of time, and as phony as saying "Hands Up, Don't Shoot!" ...

If this same Muslim showed up dressed in a skirt and dress like that to a Rap Concert, do you think she would have encountered rude people? Damn straight she would. Maybe even be punched out. How about at an Oakland Raiders game parking lot during an NFL game, going around like that and approaching some black guys bbq'ing pork sausages from the tailgate of an F150 and then try to start up "a chat" about pork and Islam or something - what do you think is going to happen to this gal?

She was treated just fine by the Trump supporters... but if she went around wearing a ¡Jeb! (Jeb Bush) T-shirt, then maybe she WOULD have gotten smacked.

It isn't just Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders I can't stand, on the republican side it is hard for me to stomach the likes of Jeb Bush and Rick Santorum. John Kasich I can tolerate but I do not support him in any way. Jeb and John may be and have been good governors for their states, but they along with Santorum need to drop out of the presidential race. When ever I see Bush or Santorum on t.v. doing an interview I have to turn the channel. :smirkcat:
