Oh, I get it! You're a quadratarian, believing in the father, the son, the holy ghost and the god of the OT. How's that polytheism working out for you? Or are you now buying the Islamic version of things, that the "OT" was changed by lying scribes, so all the texts that your Jesus studied and taught and claimed to live by are lies. That does seem to be your preference as you take the text of the OT and the God in it and claim that God in the OT suddenly disappeared and was replaced by another God. Could you please clarify what flavor of Christian you are?

The Bible passage you are supposed to be helping us understand is not about the Amalekites but the towns under King Sihon - which underwent ethnic cleansing .. slaughter of men, women, children, babies and fetuses .. but not the cows .. nor the plunder .. did you not understand that part of the passage .. or is it different in ancient Hebrew ? what happens to the cows in your version of the text ?

"How many does it take to qualify for Ethnic Cleansing" you asked ? Well Rose .. there is no set number nor percentage - but Slaughtering everyone in a town - men, women, children, babies and fetuses qualifies .. !

You exclaim - "OH I get it .. your a quadratarian .. " which is pure nonsense --matters not to the question of the various Gods of the Bible .. I didn't write the book .. nor claim to believe in the Book .. nor disbelieve. Just telling you what the book says in certain places... you have claimed to be an expert in Judaism .. but how then do you not know that Lord YHWH is not the God of Abe ? .. nor the God of Jesus as far as I can tell .. but certainly not Abe's God ... any good OT Scholar knows that these days.

This is not about favoratism .. choosing sides .. there is no right side to choose in a blood feud.. as doing so only serves to prolong and worsen the feud.

I choose Israel over "Those @#$ Arabs" as well .. From the River to the Sea .. but that don't mean I support these extremist vigilante's in power currently doing the Ethnic Cleansing thing .. complete with major war crime - crimes against humanity rapport.

The Apartheid conditions of these people in the cage -- if they wern't animals before --- gonna be if ever get out , and this not good for the state of Israel as we found out .. .. nor is the response from the very well armed Muslim nations in the Region .. a good thing for Israel.. and the potential and looming future escalated response .. should this incursion into Gaza continue. .. things could get ugly in a big hurry .. bad things .. not just military but economic .. a real threat of sanctions on the horizon ..

So .. if you favor the side of Israel -- Cease Fire Now .. end the military occupation ASAP

Similar could be said of Hamas. Surrender now! And stop launching the rockets into Israel immediately.

Sure .. the difference is that Hamas is all for a Cease Fire. No idea why you are conflating Surrendering into the pie .. no need for anyone to surrender.

but yes - a Cease fire is in the best interest of Hamas .. just as it is in the best interest of Israel -- and yes a cease fire would include not launching rockets into Israel - just as Israel would not launch rockets into Gaza

Amalekites were mentioned because they too were ethnicly cleansed -- and it matters not whether they lived in towns -- like the reference to King Sihon you are supposed to assess .. or villages .. or tent cities .. as is just a deflectionf rom the stark agreed upon fact that the Israelites did some major Ethnic Cleansing.

"There is only one" you say ?! No Friend, there are many God's mentioned in the Bible ... many God's worshiped .. Gods and Sons of Gods.. Which one is your favorite ? Do you like the God of Abraham .. the God of Jesus .. Ha Satan .. or perhaps one of those child sacrifice Gods .. So .. what you meant to say perhaps is "There is only one God for me" -- which is wonderful and fine .. but tell us which God might that be ? .. is it the Ethnic Cleansing -- Children killed for the sins of parents God - Rule of Law hating God ? or the Children not to be punished - everyone responsible for his own sin God .. or something completely different -- which God of the Bible is the one you speak of ?
