It was some verses i read in quran 4. Which speaks about women. Although verse 16 in some cases have referred to guys. Here is the verse. What's your opinion?

Quran 4:15-16
Those who commit unlawful sexual intercourse of your women - bring against them four [witnesses] from among you. And if they testify, confine the guilty women to houses until death takes them or Allah ordains for them [another] way.

And the two who commit it among you, dishonor them both. But if they repent and correct themselves, leave them alone. Indeed, Allah is ever Accepting of repentance and Merciful.

The answer to the thread's question is no; both men and women are equally guilty in crimes.

As for those verses, they talked about women specifically because the chapter was about women and verses were generally about the rules that concerned women. It was not to discriminate between the sexes in guilt.

The name of the chapter is النساء which means women in English.
