If God created the universe, who created God?

That is a very good question. I have no idea. Christians would say that God existed for all eternity.

You are aware that eternity is only relevant to our existence right? Eternity cannot exist in our own universe or any other.

The proper word would be perpetual if you are referring to something outside or inside the cosmos.

Also I like may others incite 1 god as nonexistence is not a plurality. Please prove to me the state of nonexistence is plural in natural and I will become a hardcore polydeist.

Nup, you've lost me. I was basically just saying the question is a waste of time.

But, just for giggles...
1) I have no idea on how you are differentiating eternity and perpetuity. Pretty sure you understand my meaning, however.
2) I am completely clueless as to what your last paragraph is suggesting or asking for. For what it's worth, I wasn't making an argument towards the non-existence of anything here, except maybe a point to this thread.

The universe is constantly expanding.. The creator/source "is" the universe. He is universal intelligence/love and light.. He is spirit and has no throne.. He neither judges nor rewards.. We are spiritual Beings temporarily in a physical body, created from and by the Great Spirit..This life is an illusion cocreated by spirit as a place where our soul/spirit has an opportunity for growth..

Not to go off of topic of this thread but I have another question about creation, according to the bible god created earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th, If I am not mistaken god is purported to be infallible and knows everything that has happened, and is going to happen, this suggests that he can see the future and knows what is going to happen before you do it. It can also be said that he writes your life for you. Know with that being said how can you have free will if your life is already scripted for you. Private message me if you have an answer that is believable.

Yet you do exactly that.
With your first ever post on RF.
Imagine that.

no thank you.
I am not interested in that which you have to sell in private.

God does not preplan your life, you do....You do have free will to make choices and decisions that will affect your life and the lives of those around you.. We can take the long spiritual road or the short one--it is up to us..The source doesn't care as he knows that eventually, even if it takes eons, you will reunite with your source.. The journey is your own..

In other words you are asking "What caused the uncause cause?"

Or you could look at it as where did the alleged uncaused cause come from.

Of course, the second you say that the uncaused cause alwys existed you are stuck showing that the universe could not of always existed.

If God created the universe, who created God?

Peace to all.
I see lots of difficulty in answering this simple question.
Lets use our intellectual logic to find the answer.
Every thing we see around us has to have an inventor or designer.
Now lets take the clothes(dress) that we are wearing as an example.
It was made by somebody in a factory.
The question is does the one who manufactured it gets the credit or does the designer? The logical answer is the designer.
Now lets say the designer was Colubro.
So Colubro is given the credit for creating the dress.
Simply means he was the first being to design or invent that article and hence takes credit and is called the creator of that article.
The knowledge that Colubro used in designing the dress made him the creator of the dress and nobody else can take credit for it.
Now if we have to ask who created Colubro?
Logically what does the above question has to do with the dress.
Even if we know who Colubro s mother and father are, will they be credited as the creator of the dress? The logical answer is no.
Now lets look at another example.
The watch. Not the modern watch of today but the ancient watch. The first person that had the knowledge of its mechanisms takes the credit of being the first creator of the watch.
Conclusion.
In simple lay mans launguage everything which is created has a beginning and the first person who will be able to tell the mechanism of such thing is the creator.Science tells us the sun has a beginning, the moon has a beginning, our universe has a beginning. Who will know the mechanism? The creator God Almighty offcourse. The answer to its mechanism is in our Noble Quraan.
Now if you ask me who created God?
My answer is its an absurd question because by definition God is uncreated. He does not have a beginning. The absurdy of the question is like telling me a male gave birth to a child.
Hope it answers the question.
Peace to all and have a wonderful day.

No one, he is uncreated. That is why he is not subject to birth or death, neither are we (well, bodily we are, but not soulfully.)
Take the number 0 for instance. It is neither positive nor negative, like God is neither existing and nonexisting.

"Lets use our intellectual logic to find the answer." If every thing has to have an inventor or designer then God also has to have an inventor or designer or else every thing doesn't have to have an inventor or designer. This is logical.

ArtieE please stop twisting the words that i used. You can go and chech what i said.I never said "every thing has to have an inventor or designer".
I said "Every thing we see around us has to have an inventor or designer".
Now please don't come and tell me you can see God because if you can see God then go and ask him who invented him.
Good try ArtieE but try again.
Peace
