If God created the universe, who created God?

If you use a word then definately you will know the definition of that word.If you use the word God and do not know the meaning of the word God means you don't know what you talking about. Its exactly like a mad person. He uses words and he does not know what he is saying.
If an atheist say there is no God then he must explain which God he is refering to that does not exist and this is logical.Again i state that in order to define the word God you have to know the true concept of God.

Herein lies the very problem. God cannot be defined.

If God created the universe, who created God?
This argument only works as a question in a very basic cause/effect debate.
Even then, one must assume that God is subject to physical laws, or in the case of Deism, is even able to interact with our universe.

But, hey, welcome to the Forum anyway.

This is a very simple question.
The most logical way to answer your question is to understand the true concepts of God and via these concepts you will be able to define the word God.Together with its concepts and definition you will derive at your simple answer.
To give you a clue to your logical question.
You have to ask yourself where was God when he created the Universe?
Was he inside the Universe or was he outside the Universe?
Your logical answer will tell you where Gods throne is and thus you will derive at your first concept of God.
All the best and hope you find your answer quickly.
Have a Peaceful day.

How could you possibly know where God was when he created the universe?

You're changing the rules. Must everything have a creator?
Changing the rules? 'seeking4truth' simply disregarded the rules completely and established his opinion as truth supreme without even engaging in a discussion.

Here is an idea. Perhaps God evolved out of the universe and His consciousness expanded to encompass the cosmos, slowly and over time, much like single celled life forms evolved. Of course that is just for this philosophical debate. I'm not that kind of pantheist. But for the sake of argument just reverse the equation. Why does God has to be the primal mover and not the universe?

This is a Deistic concept held by some post-existential deists :D

Well, that's the eternal circle this argument revolves around. You state God sits outside the rules, basically, and is eternal, but nothing else can be. Then the atheists ask 'If God can be eternal, why not something else?'

Or you state 'All things must be Created, apart from the Creator.' And then the atheists say 'If all things must be Created, why not God?'

And neither side have the least possibility of proving their viewpoint as correct, nor on moving a single person from their current view of the world based on this argument (I would suspect).

You are aware that eternity is only relevant to our existence right? Eternity cannot exist in our own universe or any other.

The proper word would be perpetual if you are referring to something outside or inside the cosmos.

Also I like may others incite 1 god as nonexistence is not a plurality. Please prove to me the state of nonexistence is plural in natural and I will become a hardcore polydeist.

How can man create a supernatural being?

I personally wouldn' t say that god is supernatural, though we can get a little sticky defining what is nature and what is beyond nature.

God is a symbol for the creative and living, dynamic force of the universe. Because we conscious beings cannot be separated from the universe and are ourselves modeling it from data collected through the process of being conscious, we can be said the be cocreating the universe, which includes concepts like "god" and "man." How can we be anything but a part of the creative force of the universe when without us nothing is definable?

Then why call the universe "God"? Why not call the universe the universe? Seems that would mitigate confusion.

It would, however, misrepresent the feelings and sentiments of people who are pantheists or panentheists.

Calling the universe the universe doesn't imply a sense of the universe being a sacred thing, worthy of ritual celebration, worship, and reverence.
