This main reason of recent conflict between Arabs and Jews in Israel.
Racism law due to race and religion. Toward Arabs and Muslims
This seems very wrong to meThis main reason of recent conflict between Arabs and Jews in Israel.
Racism law due to race and religion. Toward Arabs and Muslims
We talk not in generality.Just this specific case. Which cause recent war. This seems very wrong to me
The Muslima seemed nice to me
The Jew seemed "not nice" to me
Almost too absurd for words
Like an unreal Hollywood Drama
Yes israeli government allows to Jews to claim home or land.I can't watch the video at the moment, but did he go in and personally rout out the previous residents? I'm not sure I understand the situation here. If the Israeli government stole it and earmarked it for an Israeli citizen - and he's just the one who ended up with it - then I can see his point to some degree. Another person would have taken it if he didn't.
Don't know where you come from, but Western countries in general allow homeowners to evict people from houses when they stop paying rent.We talk not in generality.Just this specific case. Which cause recent war.
An Arab family kicked out from thier homes by Jews. Because Israeli law allows to" jews" reclaim home or land.
It's their own homes not about rent.Don't know where you come from, but Western countries in general allow homeowners to evict people from houses when they stop paying rent.
Read history. The houses were bought by the Council of the Sephardic Congregation In Jerusalem and the Council of Knesset Yisrael during the 19th and 20th centuries. During the 1948 War, when the Jordanians moved in on Eastern Jerusalem, the Jews were forced to flee and Palestinian families (who, by the way, did not use that title at the time) moved in. During the 1967 War that area was freed by Israel. However, for various reasons, those Palestinians weren't evicted at the time. In 1982, the owners reached a legal settlement with the Palestinians, in which they agreed to recognize the Councils as the true, legal owners of the houses, along with paying rent money. By '93 it turned out that Palestinians had stopped paying rent and the Councils - the owners - demanded they be evicted. This began the years-long legal battle. At around the same time, the Councils - again, the true owners - wanted to have Jews move into those homes - because they can, being the owners. The process of moving Jewish families led to more legal and physical turmoil. It's their own homes not about rent.
Check video.
I don't know why you expect Israel to give equal rights to enemies of the State. The Israeli laws that allow for the Jewish “reclamation” of Palestinian land in East Jerusalem is a one-way street. While Jews can reclaim land based on pre-1948 deeds, Palestinians cannot make claims on land their families owned in West Jerusalem before Israel’s independence. On top of that, the property of Palestinian refugees from the 1948 war was formally expropriated in 1950.
No, they're having reality pushed in their face: That they are not citizens of Israel, having lost that opportunity when they fled from Israel during the '48 War instead of accepting the offer of citizenship from Israel, and therefore do not deserve the same rights the State affords to its citizens. To think otherwise is utterly ridiculous. What country gives equal or better rights to its enemies? In brief, Palestinians in Sheikh Jarrah are being targeted with an unjust and discriminatory legal regime that denies Palestinians the right to make the same claims as Jews
YOU DEFEND. LIKE israel are treat Arabs same as Jews?Read history. Again it's not about rent.it's about racism law. Allow to jews claim land and home of non-jews.Hey @Godobeyer, you know who only got paid the equivalent of 350 dollars by the Polish family who stole his home during World War 2? My great-grandfather, that's who. And they were at least nice enough to pay a little money, because most property-thieves in the post-war era didn't pay the Jews anything. But according to your logic, that's fair, right? The last people to live on the property are the true owners, whether they paid for it or not, right?
Thats a good point.Again it's not about rent.it's about racism law. Allow to jews claim land and home of non-jews.
Your grandfather suffer by racism. And Jews by nazi regime. How you accept snd justify Israel or some jews treat racism Arabs?
Of course I "DEFEND". I'm a proud Israeli citizen. I was in Jerusalem on Yom Yerushalayim, when the first airstrike alarm rang. What did you expect, that I should grovel and beg for forgiveness from a group of people that wish to throw me into the ocean?YOU DEFEND
The Israeli-Arabs, yes. They have full citizenship, full rights - and even a bonus: They don't have to serve in the army unless they want. Didn't stop many of them from spitting in our face this last week.LIKE israel are treat Arabs same as Jews?
Why should they? Tell me, now, why Israel should give citizenship to its enemies?First Israeli in general avoid give Arabs the citizenship.
Why not? Those are Palestinians that aren't paying rent.I. KNOW some JEWS CONSIDER Arabs as Enemies. Include case of Sheikh Jarrah?
Oh, so I guess Nablus was never Jewish, right, because it now has an Arab name? But you see, we know history. We know the Arabs took the name from Neopolis, which was the Greco-Roman name for the city of Shechem, which was, indeed, a Jewish city, thousands of years ago. The current name proves nothing. It's just a weak attempt to distort the facts. Try again. From name you know it's belonged to Arabs not jews
Tell me now why enemies of a country deserve the same rights as its citizens. Tell me now why property owners are not allowed to evict people who live on their property but no longer pay rent.Again it's not about rent.it's about racism law. Allow to jews claim land and home of non-jews.
Because it's not racism. You have yet to explain why it's racist. Believe me, in Israel, just like in many countries, when someone is unable to pay rent - whether Jewish or not - they are evicted from the property. In fact, it's utterly ridiculous that the legal battle has continued on for so long.Your grandfather suffer by racism.Of nazi regime. How you accept snd justify Israel or some jews treat racism Arabs?
