I actually created a poll like this awhile back, FFH, except that instead of "neither" or "undecided," I listed Ralph Nadar as a choice. :D As I recall, he won. Mitt came in a strong second, and Hillary was left in the dust.

I wouldn't vote for Mitt Romney if someone paid me. I know I asked people who said that about HIllary why, but I can tell you why about Mitt. He is an ultraconservative bigot, looking to limit the constitutional rights (NOT special rights) of gays and override the voting public he represented. He has no government experience except being elected MA governor miraculously, and his business experience is not that successful. Those are the reasons I exclude him from my consideration. My reasons have nothing to do with his faith, gender or anything else, his lack of any meaningful experience and disregard for his constituents' vote is enough.

Seriously, I have enormous respect for both candidates, the question is are we ready for either one of them to be Commsnder in Chief of our armed forces ???

This is where it becomes hard to picture either one of them in that office...

Why not, its power is imaginary after all. It's a human artificial structure.

His/her effects are only what we carry out.

True the President has a multitude of people around him advising him and making decisions for him, but who do we blame when things go wrong, not his advisors..

Do we not recognize the power of the Presidency in making decisions, until things go horribly wrong??

That's not radical, thats appealing to an evangelical and corporate base.

Okay, well, I can see why you would oppose his politics. I guess I'm not seeing how any of these things makes him a "bigot." To be perfectly honest, I am pretty politically moderate myself. Politics don't interest me a lot, but I think Mitt is a decent human being and, while conservative, not a "bigot" at all.

Neither. I'd rather take Edwards.

But it would be Hillary if it came down to only her or Romney. There's no way I'd vote for someone who's so openly hostile to non-heterosexuals.

I hadn't thought of it that way...if he were elected, it would be a seamless transition from Bush/Cheney then!
