In a world that didnt do either one of those to George Bush, maybe people will worship him all over again.
He would probably wind up in Santa Cruz California arguing with all the other Jesuses.Would he end up in a mental institution rather than have been executed?

Bahaollah died at the age of 75, but he was not the messiah. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was a messiah. He died at the age of 73. Sayyed ʻAlí Muḥammad Shírází aka 'Bab', died young at the age of 31. He is termed as Messiah by Bahais.

I think if Jesus showed up today, I would be so happy. I would like to come in his arms. I may ask him lots of questions or may just be content to be with him. I would like to see any animals that may be in heaven. I’m curious what angels look like and how their wings would feel like.

All these different Messiahs out there, too confusing.... I believe I'll just see who shows up at the Gates some day.
I don't think so, but he would have been a huge sensation on social media. If he had thousands of followers two thousand years ago, imagine what he could have done today with Fb, Tiktok, Instagram, snapchat and youtube, just to mention a few.

I understand Jesus coming again to judge the world and also to reign a thousand years on the earth. I believe when Jesus comes back, the whole world will see him.

It depends. Some believe in reincarnation, but reincarnating into animals and bugs isn't something they usually believe in. Just other humans.
I was just thinking about Gates because this thread seems rather focused on the Abrahamic.
Well, considering this is a hypothetical where a guy who died 2,000 years ago has returned, I can magic you and others like you into government.......

From what I've read, the Summerland is seen as neither heaven or hell, when one is there. But it's probably a bit better than Earth, though.

That is what they accused the Bab and Baha'u'llah of, and to a Baha'i they fulfilled that promise.

Jesus was a prophet/messenger of God/Allah/YHVH. They are not basically recognized from their appearance but by the criteria of a truthful prophet.
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad- the Promised Messiah/Imam Mahdi is/was needed by the time Just like Jesus s/o Mary.
